Fluorite is a 4-star Nature Caster in Arknights: Endfield who fights with a Handcannon at 10.0m range. She scales on Agility with Intellect as her secondary attribute, and her job is not damage. Her job is putting an extra stack of Cryo or Nature Infliction onto an enemy that already has some.

That sentence is the whole operator. Every argument about her weapon, her gear and her tier resolves back to it, and you can test every one of those arguments against your own account in our [Fluorite damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator).

## TL;DR

* **Her combo skill costs nothing but its cooldown.** Free Giveaway has no resource cost, so 40 seconds is the entire price, and it is the one thing limiting her.
* **Two sets shorten it, not one.** Qingbo and Frontiers both carry Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%. Frontiers adds team DMG +16%; Qingbo adds her own Skill DMG +20%. Every competing guide names only Qingbo.
* **Skill level 12 cuts the cooldown to 38 seconds.** It is the only skill level in her kit that changes a cooldown, and nobody has published it.
* **Gear sets are three pieces, not four.** Every suit in the game unlocks its Bonus Stat and Set Effect at 3 pieces. Guides recommending “4-piece Qingbo” are describing a tier that does not exist.
* **OBJ Velocitous is the weapon, and it is a 5-star.** Agility main attribute, Ultimate Gain Efficiency +37.14%, and a skill that pays her for consuming Arts Infliction stacks.
* **The top three weapons are within 1.7% of each other.** OBJ Velocitous 100.2%, Clannibal 100.0%, Wedge 99.1% at R9\. The pick is not a damage decision.
* **Level Combo first, then Basic.** Free Giveaway climbs from 169% to 380% and its bonus multipliers roughly triple. Nothing else in her kit gains that much.
* **P5 is the real cooldown fix.** It removes 1 second per Cryo or Nature Infliction applied, up to once per second, which can nearly halve her effective cooldown.
* **Her battle skill is not filler.** The Improvised Explosive applies a 30% slow, and her first talent gives DMG Dealt +20% against Slowed targets. P3 doubles that window to 6 seconds and spreads it to every enemy hit.
* **She is C tier in general and A tier in Contingency Contract.** Both ratings are correct, for reasons worth 400 words below.
* **Every number here is checkable.** The [Fluorite damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) reads the same tables and lets you swap the weapon, the set and the potentials against your own gear.

## The best Fluorite build at a glance

Fluorite’s best build is OBJ Velocitous with a three-piece Qingbo or Frontiers set. Both cut her 40 second Free Giveaway cooldown by 15%, which is the single thing limiting her. Level Combo first, then Basic. She only works in teams that already apply Cryo or Nature Infliction.

Swap the three Qingbo pieces for three Frontiers pieces if you want the team buff instead of the personal one. Same cooldown reduction either way.

## Why Fluorite is C tier and A tier at the same time

Our own site rates her twice, and the two ratings disagree. The general [tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/tier-list) puts her at **C**: “Specialized enabler for Nature and Cryo slows. High setup cost.” The [Contingency Contract tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/contingency-contract-tier-list) grades her **A**. That is not an editing mistake, and reconciling it tells you more about how to use her than either number does alone.

The C rating is about her floor. Free Giveaway does not fire until an enemy already carries 2 or more stacks of Cryo or Nature Infliction. She can get there alone, because her battle skill applies Nature Infliction, but only one Improvised Explosive can exist on the battlefield at a time. Alone, she is an operator who spends most of a fight waiting for her own cooldowns and then does mediocre damage.

The A rating is about her ceiling in a specific format. In Contingency Contract, our fit engine gives her a positive score adjustment on modifier 1004 for a reason that sounds like a joke and is not: her 40 second cooldown means she is not casting often enough to trigger the self-applied Cryo penalty. The thing that makes her weak in open content makes her safe under a modifier that punishes frequent casting. She also ranks 25th on the [stagger tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/database/stagger-tier-list) at 55.0 total stagger, grade A, which matters in formats where breaking an enemy on schedule beats out-damaging it.

So the honest verdict is conditional. **Inside a Cryo or Nature infliction team, build her and expect A-tier contribution. Outside one, she is a C-tier operator and no amount of gear changes that.** No weapon fixes a combo skill that will not trigger.

## Cryo and Nature Infliction, and what “apply the same Infliction again” means

Most guides describe Fluorite as an “infliction stacker” and leave it there. The exact wording in her skill text matters, because it is what makes her flexible across two elements.

Free Giveaway reads: _“Shoots the target enemy to trigger a special explosion that deals Nature DMG and applies another Arts Infliction of the element already on the enemy.”_

She does not apply Nature. She applies **whatever is already there**. Point her at an enemy carrying Cryo stacks and she adds a Cryo stack. Point her at one carrying Nature stacks and she adds a Nature stack. Her own damage stays Nature either way, but the stack she hands the team matches the team.

Her ultimate does the same thing on its final damage sequence, under the same 2-stack condition.

This is why she slots into two completely different squads with no build change. It is also why she is useless in an Electric or Heat team: there is no Cryo or Nature stack for her to copy, so her combo trigger never lights up and her ultimate’s reapplication clause does nothing.

Two practical consequences:

1. **Open on the team’s element, not on hers.** If you are running Cryo, let the Cryo applicator land 2 stacks before you reach for Free Giveaway. Firing her battle skill first puts a Nature stack on the target and muddies which element she copies.
2. **Tier 2 is the threshold, not tier 4.** Our [Frostbound Hunt team notes](https://endfieldhub.org/team-tier-list) make this explicit: open with Corrosion II rather than pushing straight to Corrosion IV, because tier II is what triggers her combo skill. Overshooting the threshold wastes rotation time you are already short of.

## Fluorite’s kit, skill by skill

Every multiplier below is read from the game’s own skill table at **skill level 12**, her maximum. Most published Fluorite numbers are the level 1 values, which is why you will see her battle skill quoted at 187% elsewhere.

| Skill | Level 1 | Level 12 | Cost and cooldown |
| -------------------------- | --------------------- | ---------------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Signature Gun Kata (basic) | 56 / 73 / 57 / 135% | Same chain, 15 Stagger | Free |
| Finisher | 400% | **900%** | Free, needs a Stagger |
| Tiny Surprise (battle) | 187% | **420%** | 100 Atb, no cooldown |
| Free Giveaway (combo) | 169% + 40/80/105/133% | **380%** \+ 120/240/320/415% | No cost, 40s (**38s** at L12) |
| Apex Prankster (ultimate) | 4 x 111% | **4 x 250%** | 100 Ultimate SP, 10s |

### Basic attack: Signature Gun Kata

A four-sequence chain at 56%, 73%, 57% and 135%, with the fourth sequence landing as three hits and dealing 15 Stagger when she is the controlled operator. Her dive attack sits at 180%.

The number nobody quotes is the finisher. Basic attack near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher at **900%** at max level, and it recovers SP. That is by a wide margin her largest single hit, and it is free. If you are controlling her manually, staggering something and cashing the finisher is worth more than any rotation optimisation in this guide. The calculator has a [Staggered target toggle](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) if you want to see the difference it makes.

### Battle skill: Tiny Surprise

She kicks an Improvised Explosive that sticks to the target, applies **Slow**, and detonates shortly after for Nature damage and Nature Infliction in an area. Killing the target sets it off immediately. Only one can exist on the battlefield at a time.

The skill table puts the explosion at 187% at level 1 and **420% at level 12**, with a `move_speed_scalar` of 0.7 for 3 seconds. That is a 30% slow, which is worth stating plainly because every other guide calls it “utility” and moves on.

It is not utility. Her first talent, Love the Stab and Twist, grants **DMG Dealt +20% against Slowed targets** at rank 2\. Tiny Surprise is the only thing in her kit that applies Slow. Skipping it does not just skip a 420% hit, it switches off a 20% damage bonus on everything else she does.

### Combo skill: Free Giveaway

The centrepiece, and the bottleneck.

It triggers only when an enemy carries 2 or more stacks of Cryo or Nature Infliction. It deals Nature damage and applies another Arts Infliction of the element already present. It returns 10 Ultimate SP and 10 Atb on cast.

The part nobody publishes is the scaling. On top of the base multiplier (169% at level 1, 380% at level 12), the skill table carries four additive bonus values that climb with the state of the target when it fires. Those go from 40%, 80%, 105% and 133% at level 1 to **120%, 240%, 320% and 415%** at level 11, where they cap.

Put together, a fully levelled Free Giveaway into a well-stacked enemy is close to 795% against 302% at level 1\. That is a 2.6x gain, larger than any other skill on her kit, and it is the concrete reason to level Combo first.

It also has no resource cost. The cooldown is the entire cost.

### Ultimate: Apex Prankster

100 Ultimate SP. She arcs across the target and fires four sequences of Nature damage, 111% each at level 1 and **250% each at level 12**. If an Improvised Explosive is stuck to the target, the ultimate **detonates it immediately and increases both the damage and the size of the explosion** by 30%. If the final sequence hits a target with 2 or more Cryo or Nature stacks, it reapplies that infliction.

So the ultimate is a second infliction application that does not use the 40 second cooldown, and it is the payoff for having cast the battle skill first. Battle skill into ultimate is the order, always.

## The 40-second problem, and the math on fixing it

Free Giveaway’s cooldown is the reason our character data lists “Massive 40s Cooldown” as her first con and “Sluggish Rotation” as her second. It is also the one number every competing guide mentions and none of them does arithmetic on.

There are exactly three things in the game that shorten it.

**Skill level 12.** The cooldown sits at 40 seconds from level 1 through level 11 and drops to **38 seconds** at level 12\. It is the only cooldown in her kit that moves with skill level, and it is a second reason Combo leads her levelling order.

**Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%**, which comes from a three-piece set. Two sets carry it, and only two: **Qingbo** and **Frontiers**. At 38 seconds base that is 32.3 seconds.

**Her fifth potential, Craver of Chaos.** The in-game text reads: _“Combo skill Free Giveaway improved: Whenever Cryo Infliction or Nature Infliction is applied to the enemy, cooldown is shortened by 1s. Effect can only trigger once every 1s.”_

That last one is the real fix, and it is capped in an interesting way. One second removed per second is the ceiling, which means P5 can at most **double** her cooldown recovery rate. Everything in between depends on how often your team actually applies stacks.

| Setup | Effective cooldown | Free Giveaway casts in a 2-minute fight |
| ------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| Skill L11, no set, P0 | 40s | 4 |
| Skill L12, no set, P0 | 38s | 4 |
| Skill L12, Qingbo or Frontiers 3-piece, P0 | 32.3s | 4 |
| Skill L12, 3-piece set, P5, one infliction every 2s | \~21.5s | 6 |
| Skill L12, 3-piece set, P5, one infliction every second (cap) | 16.2s | 8 |

Assumptions, stated up front: casts counted as one at the opening plus one per completed cooldown inside a 120 second fight, P5 modelled as adding its 1 second per application directly to cooldown progress, and no account taken of the seconds she spends in animation. The first three rows are exact. The last two depend entirely on your team’s application rate, which is the point.

Read the table and the build follows. Skill level and the set bonus together buy you about eight seconds, which is real but does not add a cast inside two minutes. **A three-piece set plus P5 in a dense infliction team** is what turns her from a once-per-fight enabler into a rotational one. She is a 4-star, so P5 is genuinely reachable, and it is the single most valuable thing you can spend her duplicates on.

## Best weapons

She uses Handcannons. There are twelve in the game and seven are realistic candidates.

The damage simulation numbers below come from our operator build data, expressed as a percentage of the top performer’s output.

| Weapon | Rarity / ATK | Stat lines | Sim (R4 / R9) | Verdict |
| -------------------- | ------------ | ----------------------------------------- | ------------------- | -------------------- |
| **OBJ Velocitous** | 5-star / 411 | Agility +124, Ult Gain Efficiency +37.14% | 100.0% / **100.2%** | Best in slot |
| **Clannibal** | 6-star / 490 | Main Attribute +132, Arts DMG +43.33% | 99.5% / 100.0% | Best for team damage |
| **Wedge** | 6-star / 500 | Main Attribute +132, Crit Rate +19.5% | 98.5% / 99.1% | Fine, not special |
| **Home Longing** | 6-star / 490 | Agility +156, Cryo DMG +43.33% | Not simulated | Strong on paper |
| **Opus: The Living** | 5-star / 411 | Agility +124, Arts DMG +34.67% | Not simulated | Budget option |
| **Navigator** | 6-star / 490 | **Intellect** +156, Cryo DMG +43.33% | Not simulated | Wrong attribute |
| **Howling Guard** | 4-star / 341 | Intellect +93, Attack +23.4% | Not simulated | Levelling only |

The first thing that table settles: **a 5-star beats both 6-stars.** OBJ Velocitous has 89 less base ATK than Wedge and still comes out ahead, because it rolls her actual main attribute and its skill, Detonate: Rapid Strike, grants ATK +14.0% plus Nature DMG Dealt of 14.0% per Arts Infliction stack consumed for 20 seconds. That clause describes her entire loop.

The second thing: **the spread is 1.7 percentage points.** Whichever of the top three you already own is fine. Do not burn Arsenal Exchange currency chasing an upgrade that small. Run your own numbers in the [Fluorite damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) if you want the comparison at your gear level, and our [handcannon tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/handcannon-tier-list-weapons-arknights-endfield) has the wider picture on this weapon class.

So the tiebreakers matter more than the damage:

**Clannibal** is the team pick. Its skill applies Arts DMG Taken +28% to the target for 15 seconds after she consumes an Arts Reaction, on a 25 second internal cooldown. That is a debuff every damage dealer in the squad benefits from, and it is why our character data calls it her best in slot. If the sim numbers are a tie, and they nearly are, take the one that buffs the other three operators.

**OBJ Velocitous** is the uptime pick, and it is the default recommendation here. Its Ultimate Gain Efficiency +37.14% is the single largest energy line available to her, and as the next section shows, energy is the constraint her gear is actually built around.

**Home Longing** deserves a flag rather than a ranking. It carries the highest Agility line of any Handcannon at +156, and its skill grants the next battle skill Cryo and Nature DMG Dealt +22.4% for 20 seconds after a combo skill, stacking twice. Combo into battle skill is an order she can hit. The catch is the window: her combo is on a 32 to 38 second cooldown, so a 20 second buff is live for roughly half her rotation at best. It is absent from our simulation set, so we will not rank it against the tested three, but it is the one to test if you are chasing personal damage.

**Navigator is the trap.** The game’s own in-client recommendation table puts it in her first tier, and several guides repeat that. Look at the stat line: **Intellect +156**. Her main attribute is Agility. Intellect is her secondary. The same recommender labels her role “Physical DPS”, which she is not, and gives Navigator a lower internal match score than OBJ Velocitous while still ranking it higher. Treat its output as a starting point rather than an answer.

If you are deciding whether to pull on a weapon banner at all, run the numbers through our [pity calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/tools/pity-calculator) first.

## Best gear sets

Start with the rule that most Fluorite guides get wrong.

**Endfield gear sets are three pieces.** Every suit in the equipment table has exactly one bonus tier, at 3 pieces, and it unlocks the Bonus Stat and the Set Effect together. There is no 2-piece tier and no 4-piece tier. You have four slots (Body, Hand, and two EDC), so every build in this game is one 3-piece set plus one flex piece. A single off-piece grants no set bonus at all, only its own substat.

If a guide tells you to run “4-piece Qingbo”, it is describing a mechanic that does not exist.

Second rule, and this one costs real farming time: **eight named sets have no level-70 piece.** They exist only at T3 or below, so their stat budgets stop where the rest of your gear keeps going.

> **Do not finish a Fluorite build on these.** Aburrey’s Legacy, AIC Heavy, AIC Light, Armored MSGR, Catastrophe, Mordvolt Insulation, Mordvolt Resistant and Roving MSGR have no level 70 tier. Several are fine while you level. Three of them (Catastrophe, Mordvolt Insulation, Roving MSGR) are recommended for Fluorite in currently published guides.

With that cleared, here are the sets that fit her kit, taken from the same engine that drives our [gear sets database](https://endfieldhub.org/database/gear-sets).

| Build | 3-piece set | What the set does | When to run it |
| ---------------------- | ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Team Engine** | Frontiers | Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%. After the wearer’s skill recovers SP, **the team** gains DMG +16% for 15s | The enabler build. Same cooldown fix, and the buff goes to the squad |
| **Combo Unlock** | Qingbo | Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%. On combo cast, Skill DMG Dealt +20% for 15s, 2 stacks | The personal-damage version of the same cooldown fix |
| **Nature Burst Carry** | Deep Rampart | Arts DMG Dealt +16%. On Nature or Cryo Burst, Arts Intensity +16 for 20s, 3 stacks | When you want raw damage. Note it names both her elements |
| **Infliction DPS** | Tide Surge | Arts Intensity +24\. After applying 2+ stacks of Arts Infliction, Arts DMG Dealt +35% for 15s | Her combo triggers on the same 2-stack threshold, so the condition is free |
| **Ultimate Uptime** | AIC Fieldwork | DMG Dealt +20% all types, DMG Reduction +10%, Ultimate Gain Efficiency +10% | No condition to miss. The safe pick while you farm |
| **Nature Hybrid** | Hot Work | Arts Intensity +30\. After applying Corrosion, Nature DMG +50% for 10s | Nature teams where Corrosion is already the plan |

**Qingbo and Frontiers are the only two sets in the game that touch her bottleneck.** Both carry Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15% as their Bonus Stat. Every Fluorite guide currently on the first page names Qingbo and none of them names Frontiers, which is a strange omission for an operator whose entire value is what she gives the rest of the team.

The difference is who gets the payoff:

* **Frontiers** hands the whole team DMG +16% for 15 seconds after she recovers SP. Her combo returns 10 Ultimate SP and her finisher recovers SP, so she triggers it on her own rotation. For an enabler, four operators getting +16% beats one operator getting +20%.
* **Qingbo** gives her Skill DMG Dealt +20% for every skill, stacking twice, on her own combo casts. Take it when she is doubling as a sub-damage dealer rather than a pure enabler.

Pieces to take, with her Agility main and Intellect secondary in mind. Anything rolling Strength or Will is wasting a line on her, which quietly disqualifies several pieces that look fine on the card.

**Qingbo, three pieces:**

* **Qingbo Heavy Armor** (Body): Agility 87, Ultimate SP Gain +12.3%
* **Qingbo Gloves** (Hand): Ultimate SP Gain +20.5%, or **Qingbo Gauntlets** for Agility 65 and All Skill DMG Dealt +23.0%
* **Qingbo Positioning Kit** (EDC): Agility 32, Skill DMG Bonus +41.4%

**Frontiers, three pieces:**

* **Frontiers Protection Suit** (Body): Agility 75, Intellect 113, Ultimate Gain Efficiency +16.0%
* **Frontiers Fiber Gloves T1** (Hand): Agility 43, Intellect 65, Ultimate SP Gain +20.5%
* **Frontiers Comm** (EDC): Agility 21, Combo Skill DMG Bonus +41.4%

Fourth slot in either case is a flex piece with no set bonus, so take the best raw stat you own. **Redeemer Seal** at Ultimate Gain Efficiency +25.7% is usually it, for reasons the next section makes concrete.

Before you commit to farming either one, run both through the [damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator), which carries the set effects and will tell you what the trade is worth on your gear.

**Deep Rampart** is the damage alternative and it is underrated for her specifically, because its trigger text names both Nature Burst and Cryo Burst. Since Free Giveaway reapplies whichever element is already on the target, she triggers it in either kind of team. All three of its T4 pieces (Armor, Gauntlets, Comms) roll Agility, her main attribute.

## The Ultimate Gain numbers, and why two of our own pages disagree

Every serious Fluorite build is built backwards from an Ultimate Gain Efficiency target, because Apex Prankster is her second infliction application and it costs 100 Ultimate SP. The targets that get quoted are 118%, 109% and 52.5%, and all three are correct for different teams.

The Last Rite reference loadout in our build data is tagged “Standard Fluorite Build in Last Rite Teams, 118% ER Required”, with a second note reading “try to reach 118%/109% Ultimate Gain”. Here is where 109 comes from:

| Source | Ultimate Gain Efficiency |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------ |
| OBJ Velocitous (weapon secondary) | +37.14% |
| Eternal Xiranite Gloves | +20.50% |
| Redeemer Seal | +25.70% |
| Redeemer Seal | +25.70% |
| **Total** | **109.04%** |

That is the 109 figure, exactly, from four items you can name. The remaining nine points to 118 come from artificed substats, which our [artificing planner](https://endfieldhub.org/tools/artificing-planner) will price for you. The [damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) displays your Ultimate Gain Efficiency as a build stat, so you can check where you actually land rather than adding it up by hand.

Two things fall out of that table, and both are uncomfortable.

**First, that loadout has no set bonus at all.** One Frontiers piece, one Eternal Xiranite piece and two Redeemer Seals is four slots and zero three-piece sets. The reference community build deliberately throws away every set effect to hit an energy number. That is a legitimate choice and it is also the strongest possible argument for the 3-piece rule: know what you are giving up.

**Second, our own site quotes a different number elsewhere.** The [Typhoeus best teams guide](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/typhoeus-best-teams-who-to-pair-endfield) puts her requirement at **52.5% Ultimate Gain** on a three-piece Type 50 Yinglung loadout plus a Redeemer Seal. That is not a contradiction, it is a different team. Typhoeus teams generate energy Fluorite can ride; Last Rite teams do not, so she has to carry her own. Check which team you are building for before you chase a number.

| Team | Ultimate Gain target | Loadout shape |
| --------- | -------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| Last Rite | 109% to 118% | Stat sticks, no set bonus |
| Typhoeus | 52.5% | Type 50 Yinglung 3-piece plus a Redeemer Seal |

One caution on the arithmetic: our gear data labels this stat two ways, “Ultimate Gain Efficiency” and “Ultimate SP Gain”. The 109.04% total above uses only the first label, which is why it lands exactly on the published figure. We have not confirmed that the two labels are the same stat, so do not add across them.

## Check the build in the Fluorite damage calculator

Everything above is the general answer. The [Fluorite damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) on her character page is the version that uses your gear, and it reads the same skill, weapon and set tables this guide quotes, so the two cannot drift apart.

Three things it settles that prose cannot:

* **The weapon argument, at your gear level.** Each candidate has its own conditional toggle: OBJ Velocitous pays out per Arts Infliction stack consumed, Clannibal applies enemy Arts DMG Taken after a consumed Arts Reaction, Wedge stacks Arts DMG on battle skill cast and again on a battle-skill Arts Reaction, Home Longing buffs the next battle skill for 20 seconds after a combo. The 1.7 point spread in the table above assumes all of those are live. Turn off the ones your team cannot actually trigger and the ordering can change.
* **Your Ultimate Gain Efficiency.** It is displayed as a build stat, so you can check yourself against the 109% and 52.5% targets in the previous section instead of adding substats by hand.
* **The finisher.** There is a “Target is Staggered” toggle worth a 1.3x multiplier, which is the honest way to price her 900% finisher against the rest of her kit rather than assuming you always land it.

It also carries her potentials, so you can see what P3 and P5 are worth on your account before you spend duplicates.

## Skill levels, talents and potentials

**Skill priority: Combo, Basic, Ultimate, Battle.** That is what our talent priority data says, and it disagrees with most of the SERP. Icy Veins puts Basic first, Game8 puts Ultimate first, Mobalytics treats Combo and Ultimate as equal.

The case for Combo is now arithmetic rather than opinion. From level 1 to level 12, Free Giveaway’s combined multiplier goes from roughly 302% to roughly 795%, a 2.6x gain. Tiny Surprise, Apex Prankster and the finisher all gain about 2.25x over the same range. Combo also picks up the two-second cooldown cut at level 12 that nothing else in her kit gets. Basic is second because of the 900% finisher.

Battle skill last does **not** mean never. Read the talents.

**Attributes: Agility main, Intellect secondary.** From her growth table. At level 1 she sits at Agility 168, Intellect 114, Will 91, Strength 90, with 5,945 HP and 626 ATK.

**Talents.** Both are worth the materials.

* **Love the Stab and Twist**: DMG Dealt +10% against Slowed targets at rank 1, **+20% at rank 2**. Tiny Surprise is her only Slow source. This is the talent that makes her battle skill matter.
* **Unpredictable**: 20% chance to ignore Arts damage, plus ATK +10% at rank 1 and **+20% at rank 2** for 10 seconds.

**Potentials.** Hers are unusually build-shaping for a 4-star.

| Potential | Effect | Verdict |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **P1** Ten-Finger Smith | Agility +10, Intellect +10 | Flat stats, unremarkable |
| **P2** Mind Reading Technique | Chance to ignore Arts DMG +10%, so 20% becomes 30% | Survivability only |
| **P3** Triple Surprise | After the explosive detonates, Slow applies to **all enemies hit** and lasts **6 seconds** | Doubles and spreads the window for her +20% vs Slowed talent |
| **P4** Prank Master | Apex Prankster Ultimate Energy cost reduced 10%, so 100 becomes 90 | More ultimates, more reapplications |
| **P5** Craver of Chaos | Free Giveaway cooldown shortened 1s per Cryo or Nature Infliction applied, once per second | **The one that changes her** |

If you are stopping somewhere, stop at P3, which is where her battle skill and her first talent start compounding. If you can reach P5, do, because it is the only thing in the game that meaningfully attacks the cooldown. The [damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/fluorite#damage-calculator) carries all five, so you can price the next one before you spend the duplicate.

Her factory skills are Reader of Emotions (Control Nexus, all operators’ Mood Regen +12% then +16%) and Wildlands Trekker (Growth Chamber, rare mineral growth rate +10% then +20%), neither of which affects combat.

## Best teams for Fluorite

She needs a team that applies Cryo or Nature before she does anything. These four cover the realistic cases.

| Team | Role for Fluorite | Notes |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Last Rite Cryo | Extra Cryo stacks for Last Rite to consume | The reference build team, 109% Ultimate Gain |
| Frostbound Hunt (Typhoeus) | Three free Nature stacks per rotation | A tier, roughly 75s clears, 52.5% Ultimate Gain |
| Yvonne Cryo | Second Cryo applicator | Yvonne, Xaihi, then Gilberta or Estella |
| Budget Nature | Free second applicator | Any Nature carry, no 6-star enablers needed |

### Last Rite, Perlica, Xaihi

The squad our build data pairs her with, and the cleanest fit in the game. [Last Rite](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/last-rite) is built on consuming Cryo stacks: one consumed-stack count drives her combo damage, her team Cryo Susceptibility and her ultimate energy at once. Fluorite’s whole function is adding one more stack of whatever element is already there, which in this team is Cryo.

[Xaihi](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/xaihi) supplies the Cryo baseline and [Perlica](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/perlica) covers the fourth seat. This is the team that wants the 109% to 118% Ultimate Gain build, because nothing here feeds her energy for free. Hold Free Giveaway for the window where Last Rite is about to spend stacks, not the moment it comes off cooldown.

### Frostbound Hunt: Typhoeus, Fluorite, Xaihi, Liino

An A-tier team on our [team tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/team-tier-list) at roughly 75 second clears, built for accounts that pulled [Typhoeus](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/typhoeus) but have neither Arcane nor Gilberta.

Fluorite supplies three free Nature stacks per rotation against Gilberta’s two, and gives up bringing any team buff to do it. Swapping her in for Gilberta takes the top Typhoeus team from about 71K to about 56K team DPS, which is still fully functional. The compensation is that Cryo and Nature Inflictions both shorten her combo cooldown through P5, so she and Xaihi feed each other. Open with Corrosion II rather than pushing to Corrosion IV, because tier II is what lights up her combo trigger. Liino covers healing and Nature Amp from the last seat.

The [Typhoeus build guide](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/typhoeus-build-guide-weapons-gear-teams-endfield) works through the Gilberta swap in more detail.

### Yvonne, Xaihi and a fourth

Our build data also pairs her with [Yvonne](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/yvonne), Xaihi and either Gilberta or Estella, and our character data lists Yvonne and [Ardelia](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/ardelia) as her named synergy partners. Same principle as the Last Rite team: Yvonne is the carry, Xaihi holds the Cryo baseline, Fluorite adds the stack that pushes the target over a threshold. For a broader view of what pairs with what, see our [team comps by element](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/best-team-comps-all-elements-endfield) breakdown.

### Budget: no 6-star enablers

Her best argument. She is a 4-star who provides a second Nature or Cryo Infliction source for free. If you have a Nature carry and no Arcane, no Gilberta and no Antal, she is how the team functions at all.

## Rotation direction

The order is fixed by her own kit, not by preference.

1. **Let the team apply 2 stacks first.** Cryo or Nature, whichever the squad runs. Do not lead with her.
2. **Tiny Surprise.** Plants the Improvised Explosive, applies Slow, switches on her +20% vs Slowed talent.
3. **Apex Prankster.** Detonates the explosive for +30% damage and area, and reapplies the infliction on the final sequence.
4. **Free Giveaway** when the target is well stacked, not the instant it is available. The bonus multipliers scale with the target’s state.
5. **Basic attack into the finisher** whenever something is Staggered. 900% is 900%.

The one mistake that costs the most is firing Free Giveaway at the 2-stack minimum just because the cooldown is up. On a 32 second cycle you get four of them in a two-minute fight. Spending one at minimum value throws away roughly a quarter of her contribution.

## How to build her by player type

**Just starting, no 6-stars.** Howling Guard while you level, then Opus: The Living (5-star, Agility main) as soon as you can exchange for it. AIC Fieldwork gear because it has no condition to miss. Level Combo, ignore everything else.

**Mid-game, one Cryo or Nature team.** OBJ Velocitous and a three-piece Frontiers or Qingbo set. Chase her potentials with duplicates before you chase gear substats. P3 and P5 are worth more than a perfect roll.

**Endgame, chasing clear times.** Work out your team’s Ultimate Gain requirement first, then pick gear to hit it, then spend whatever is left on a set bonus. That is the order the reference builds actually use, and it is why the Last Rite loadout runs no set at all. Clannibal over OBJ Velocitous if the team needs the Arts DMG Taken debuff more than she needs energy.

**Contingency Contract.** Build her. The A grade is real, and the cooldown that hurts her in open content protects her under certain modifiers.

## Common mistakes to avoid

**Building her in a team with no Cryo or Nature.** Her combo skill will not trigger. This is not a soft downside, it removes most of her kit.

**Running “4-piece Qingbo”.** There is no four-piece tier. Three pieces gives the full bonus and the fourth slot is free.

**Assuming Qingbo is the only cooldown set.** Frontiers carries the same Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15% and buffs the whole team instead of just her.

**Farming Catastrophe, Roving MSGR or Mordvolt Insulation for her.** All three appear in published Fluorite recommendations and none of them has a level 70 tier.

**Quoting her multipliers at level 1.** Her battle skill is 187% at level 1 and 420% at level 12\. Most published numbers for her are the level 1 values.

**Skipping Tiny Surprise entirely.** It is last in the levelling order, which is not the same as unused. It is her only Slow, and her first talent pays +20% damage against Slowed targets.

**Taking Navigator because the in-game recommendation says so.** It rolls Intellect, and she is an Agility operator.

**Firing Free Giveaway the moment it is off cooldown.** Its bonus multipliers scale with the target’s state. Wait for the window.

## What is still untested

* **Home Longing is not in our simulation set.** Its Agility +156 and its combo-into-battle-skill clause read better for her than Wedge does, but we will not rank an untested weapon against three tested ones.
* **The P5 cooldown model is a model.** The 1 second per application and the once-per-second cap come from the game text. How close a real team gets to the cap depends on application rates we have not measured per squad.
* **Which condition selects which Free Giveaway bonus multiplier.** The skill table carries four additive values that climb together with level. Reading them as scaling with the target’s stack state is our interpretation of the data, not something the client spells out.
* **Whether “Ultimate Gain Efficiency” and “Ultimate SP Gain” are the same stat.** Our gear data uses both labels, sometimes on pieces with identical values. The 109.04% calculation above deliberately uses only one of them.
* **Frontiers against Qingbo in a real rotation.** Both carry the same cooldown reduction, so the comparison is a team buff against a personal one, and that depends on your other three operators.

We will update this guide when any of those firm up.

## Is Fluorite worth building?

If you run a Cryo or Nature infliction team, yes, without much hesitation. She is a 4-star, so her potentials are reachable, and P5 turns her from a once-per-fight enabler into a rotational one. She asks for one gear set that is easy to identify and a 5-star weapon rather than a 6-star.

If you do not run one of those teams, no. There is no version of Fluorite that works in an Electric or Heat squad, because there is no stack for her to copy.

The honest way to frame the decision: she is not an operator you build and then find a use for. She is an operator you build **because** you already have a Last Rite, a Typhoeus, a Yvonne or another Nature carry, and you are short one applicator.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**What is the best weapon for Fluorite in Arknights: Endfield?**OBJ Velocitous. It is only a 5-star, but it rolls Agility (her main attribute) plus Ultimate Gain Efficiency +37.14%, and its Detonate skill grants Nature DMG for every Arts Infliction stack she consumes. In damage simulations it scores 100.2% at R9 against Clannibal’s 100.0% and Wedge’s 99.1%, so it wins on uptime rather than on raw damage.

**What gear set should Fluorite use?**Qingbo or Frontiers, both three pieces. They are the only two sets in the game whose Bonus Stat is Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%, which is the stat her kit is gated on. Qingbo then gives her Skill DMG Dealt +20% per combo cast; Frontiers gives the whole team DMG +16% after she recovers SP. Take Frontiers in a team, Qingbo for personal damage.

**Is Fluorite worth building as a 4-star?**Only inside a team that already applies Cryo or Nature Infliction. Her combo skill will not even trigger until an enemy carries 2 stacks, so in any other team she is a C-tier operator with a long cooldown. In Cryo or Nature comps she supplies three free stacks per rotation and plays like a strong A-tier enabler.

**Which of Fluorite’s skills should I level first?**Combo skill first, then basic attack. Free Giveaway goes from 169% to 380% across its levels and its four bonus multipliers climb from 40/80/105/133% to 120/240/320/415%, so it gains more than anything else in her kit. Level 12 also cuts its cooldown from 40 seconds to 38.

**Why is Fluorite’s combo skill cooldown so long?**Free Giveaway costs no resource at all, so the 40 second cooldown is its entire cost. Three things shorten it: skill level 12 takes it to 38 seconds, a three-piece Qingbo or Frontiers set applies Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%, and her fifth potential removes a further 1 second every time Cryo or Nature Infliction lands on the enemy, capped at once per second.

**Does Fluorite work without a Cryo or Nature teammate?**Barely. Her battle skill applies Nature Infliction by itself, so she can self-trigger eventually, but Free Giveaway needs 2 or more stacks on the target and only one Improvised Explosive can exist at a time. Without a second applicator she spends most of a fight waiting on her own cooldowns.

**Is Fluorite a healer or a support?**Neither, strictly. Her kit has no healing at all. She is an infliction enabler: her combo skill and her ultimate both reapply whichever Arts Infliction is already on the enemy, which feeds operators like Last Rite and Typhoeus who consume stacks. Our gear engine classes her as Buffer/Enabler, not Healer.

**How much Ultimate Gain Efficiency does Fluorite need?**It depends on the team. In Last Rite teams the target is 109% to 118%, which OBJ Velocitous (+37.14%), Eternal Xiranite Gloves (+20.5%) and two Redeemer Seals (+25.7% each) hit at exactly 109.04%. In Typhoeus teams the tested requirement is only 52.5%, because Typhoeus feeds energy the Last Rite team does not.

**Which Fluorite potential matters most?**P5, Craver of Chaos, which shortens her combo cooldown by 1 second every time Cryo or Nature Infliction is applied to the enemy, up to once per second. In a dense infliction team that can nearly halve her effective cooldown. P3, Triple Surprise, is the second pick: it doubles her slow to 6 seconds and spreads it to every enemy hit, which feeds her own +20% damage against Slowed targets.

## Final verdict

Fluorite is a narrow operator with a real job. Build her on OBJ Velocitous, pick between Frontiers and Qingbo based on whether you want the buff on the team or on her, level Combo then Basic, and treat her potentials as the priority rather than her substats, because P3 and P5 change what she does and a better Agility roll does not.

The combo cooldown is the operator. Every good decision about her is a decision about that number.
