Yvonne is a 6-star Cryo Striker in Arknights: Endfield who fights with a Handcannon at 10.0m range. She scales on Intellect with Agility as her secondary attribute, and she is the single most energy-hungry operator on the roster.

Her ultimate costs **220 Ultimate Energy**. Nothing else in the game comes close, and once you understand that number, every other decision about her makes sense.

> **Rewritten September 18, 2026.** This was the Version 1.0 launch guide. It has been rebuilt against the current game data: real max-level multipliers, the 220 energy math, tested weapon percentages, the MI Security piece list, and the Core 7 rotation. Our separate Yvonne rotation guide and Yvonne deep dive have been folded into this page, so everything on her build now lives in one place.

> New here? Her [Yvonne character page](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/yvonne) has base stats, skills, potentials and breakthrough materials. This guide covers weapons, gear, the energy problem, rotation and teams. Deciding whether to pull on the September 24 rerun is a separate question, answered in [the RE-Factor Headhunting pull math](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/re-factor-headhunting-yvonne-rerun-endfield).

## TL;DR

* **Her ultimate costs 220 Ultimate Energy**, the highest on the roster. Every build and rotation decision serves that number.
* **She cannot apply her own Cryo Infliction.** Her battle skill consumes stacks a teammate put there. No applicator, no Yvonne.
* **Her battle skill returns 10 energy plus 30 per stack consumed.** That is the engine, and it is why you fire it at 1 stack and then at 3.
* **The tested rotation is seven team skillcasts**: four Xaihi, two Yvonne, one flex.
* **Artzy Tyrannical is a real signature, not a nice-to-have.** 120.6 at R9 against Wedge’s 99.4, roughly 17% ahead at equal refinement.
* **MI Security is the set**, three pieces plus a LYNX Slab. Endfield has no four-piece tier.
* **Take Basic Attack damage pieces, not ultimate pieces.** Her ultimate deals its damage through enhanced basic attacks, so that is the multiplier that applies.
* **Her ultimate is 49.34% of her damage and her basic attacks are 38.75%.** Level Ultimate, then Basic, and stop caring after that.
* **Dodge cancel the ultimate’s final strike.** It saves about 50 frames, close to a full second, every rotation.
* **Last Rite is the trap pick.** Two Cryo carries competing for the same stacks and the same amp buff is about 10% behind running Perlica.
* **She reruns September 24, 2026** on \[Resplendent Spectrum\] RE-Factor #1, and her signature is guaranteed in 8 attempts on the parallel weapon banner. If you already own her, the weapon is the buy.
* **Every number here is checkable.** The [Yvonne damage calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/characters/yvonne#damage-calculator) reads the same tables.

## The best Yvonne build at a glance

Yvonne’s best build is Artzy Tyrannical with a three-piece MI Security set and a LYNX Slab. Her ultimate costs 220 energy, so the build exists to feed it: take Basic Attack damage pieces because her ultimate deals damage through enhanced basic attacks. Level Ultimate first, then Basic. She needs a Cryo infliction teammate to function at all.

## Who Yvonne is

A 6-star Cryo Striker from Endfield Industries’ Specialist Tech Division, researching Æther and Blight devices. She is a Vouivre, the same race as Saria and Bagpipe in the original Arknights, and her design breaks from the tactical house style entirely: dyed horns, tail and nails, gear covered in her own graffiti.

Her companion quest is built around Tata, a bot that communicates only in emojis and eventually sacrifices itself for the team. The ending is the good part: she can rebuild Tata’s hardware, but the new unit would have none of their shared memories, a copy rather than her companion. It is some of the strongest writing in Version 1.0\. Her profile files go further back, to the night [her father burned his own library](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/yvonne-lore-backstory-dad-burned-library-endfield) to let her choose engineering over etiquette.

One practical note that still comes up. Her English voice, by Clare Louise Connolly, was directed with an American West Coast accent that many players found inconsistent with the character. The Japanese track by Sora Amamiya is widely preferred. Voice language is a settings toggle and changes nothing mechanically.

## The 220 energy problem

Every other operator’s ultimate costs 100 or thereabouts. Fluorite’s is 100\. Yvonne’s is **220**, and her ultimate is 49.34% of her damage, so the entire operator is a question of how fast you can pay that bill.

She pays it with her own kit, which is the elegant part. Straight from her skill table:

| Source | Ultimate Energy |
| ---------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------- |
| Battle skill, base | 10 |
| Battle skill, **per Arts Infliction stack consumed** | 30 |
| Combo skill | 10 base plus 10 on hit |
| Combo skill passive | 15 |

That 30-per-stack line is the whole design. A battle skill fired into a 1-stack target returns 40 energy. Fired into a 3-stack target it returns 100\. The same button is worth two and a half times as much depending on when you press it, which is why “use your skill on cooldown” is actively wrong on this operator.

Two battle skills, one at 1 stack and one at 3, cover 140 of the 220 by themselves. The combo skills and the team’s own contribution close the rest, and the tested answer for how many casts that takes is **seven team skillcasts**, covered in the rotation section below.

The community model for her energy and the game’s own skill table agree exactly here, which is worth saying because they often do not: the tested “10 baseline plus 30 per stack” figure is `usp_base 10` and `usp_layer 30` in the table, and the tested “combo gives 20” is `usp 10` plus `usp_extra 10`.

## Solidification, and why she cannot start her own loop

Her battle skill, **Brr-Brr-Bomb β**, reads: throws a freezing bomb, and if it hits an enemy with Cryo Infliction or Nature Infliction, it **consumes all Arts Infliction stacks, forcibly applies Solidification**, and deals bonus Cryo damage scaled on the stacks consumed.

Read that condition again. She consumes stacks. She does not create them. Nothing in her kit applies Cryo Infliction from a standing start, so in a team with no applicator her battle skill is a plain Cryo bomb, her combo never triggers, and her 220-cost ultimate never arrives.

This is the difference between her S tier and her floor, and it is why every recommended Yvonne team below leads with who is supplying stacks rather than who is buffing her.

Once Solidification is on the target, the loop closes itself:

1. Battle skill consumes stacks and forces **Solidification**
2. Her first talent turns the **next basic attack into an instant Final Strike**
3. A Final Strike on a Solidified target is the trigger condition for her **combo skill**
4. The combo deploys Frost-e-Bytee, which ticks, pulls enemies in, then explodes and **reapplies Solidification**
5. Solidification feeds **Freezing Point**, her second talent, which doubles its Critical DMG bonus against it

## Yvonne’s kit, skill by skill

Every multiplier below is read from the game’s skill table. Most published Yvonne numbers are the level 1 values, so both columns are here.

| Skill | Level 1 | Level 12 | Cost and cooldown |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------- | ------------------------------ | -------------------------------- |
| Exuberant Trigger (basic) | 24 / 25 / 32 / 41 / 56% | 53 / 56 / 71 / 92 / 126% | Free, 17 Stagger on Final Strike |
| Finisher | 400% | **900%** | Free, needs a Stagger |
| Brr-Brr-Bomb β (battle) | 111% + 89% per stack | **250%** \+ **200%** per stack | 100 Atb, no cooldown |
| Flashfreezer υ37 (combo) | 45% x4 then 89% | **100% x4** then **200%** | No cost, 20s (**18s** at L12) |
| Cryoblasting Pistolier (ult) | 133% + 267% bonus | **300%** \+ **600%** bonus | **220 Ultimate SP**, 7s duration |

### Basic attack: Exuberant Trigger

Five sequences of Cryo damage, 53 / 56 / 71 / 92 / 126% at max level, with 17 Stagger on the Final Strike. Her dive attack is 180% and her finisher against a Staggered enemy is **900%**, the same as every Handcannon user, and it recovers SP.

Basic attacks matter more on Yvonne than on almost anyone else, because her ultimate does not deal its own damage. It **enhances her basic attacks** and then cashes out. That single fact is why her gear wants Basic Attack damage bonuses rather than Ultimate damage bonuses, and it is the most common gearing mistake made on her.

### Battle skill: Brr-Brr-Bomb β

250% on the explosion at max level, plus **200% per Arts Infliction stack consumed**, and the energy line covered above. No cooldown, costs 100 Atb.

At rank 2, her first talent adds: after applying Solidification, the next basic attack **directly becomes a Final Strike with DMG Dealt +50%**. That is not a small convenience. It skips four basic attack sequences to reach the hit that triggers her combo skill, and it is the reason her rotation feels fast once it starts.

### Combo skill: Flashfreezer υ37

Triggers when the controlled operator lands a **Final Strike on a Solidified enemy**. Deploys Frost-e-Bytee, which releases energy 4 times at 0.75 second intervals for 100% each, pulls nearby enemies toward it, then explodes for 200% and forcibly reapplies Solidification.

The pull is underrated. It is the only grouping tool in her own kit, and in a team without Gilberta it is what makes her multi-target passable.

Cooldown is 20 seconds, dropping to **18 at skill level 12**.

### Ultimate: Cryoblasting Pistolier

220 Ultimate SP, 7 seconds. It deploys Tink-a-Bella, makes Yvonne the controlled operator, and enhances her basic attacks. Each enhanced sequence grants a **Critical Rate stack, +6% each to a cap of 10 stacks, so +60% Critical Rate**, and at max stacks she also gains a damage buff worth +3% per layer. The final enhanced attack becomes an enhanced Final Strike for **300%**, and if the target is Solidified she performs an additional attack for **600%** and consumes the Solidification.

So the ultimate is a ramp, and the payoff is at the end. Entering it without Solidification on the target throws away the 600%.

**Dodge cancel the final strike.** Its aftercast is long, and dodging the instant the damage resolves saves roughly 50 frames, close to a full second, every rotation.

## Where her damage actually comes from

Community damage testing breaks her output down like this, and it settles the levelling argument:

| Source | Share of total damage |
| ------------ | --------------------- |
| Ultimate | **49.34%** |
| Basic attack | **38.75%** |
| Battle skill | 5.98% |
| Combo skill | 5.92% |

Ultimate and basic attacks are 88% of her between them, and they are the same damage event: the ultimate is a basic attack enhancer. Level those two and stop.

The combo skill is worth one honest caveat. At 5.92% of her damage it looks skippable, but maxing it cuts its cooldown by 2 seconds, and on an operator this rotation-bound that is worth more than the raw number suggests.

## Best weapons

She uses Handcannons, the same class as Fluorite and Tangtang. The percentages below are from damage testing, with her signature at R4 set as the 100 baseline.

| Weapon | Rarity / ATK | Stat lines | Tested (R4 / R9) | Verdict |
| -------------------- | ------------ | ------------------------------------- | ---------------- | -------------------------- |
| **Artzy Tyrannical** | 6-star / 505 | Intellect +156, Crit Rate +19.5% | 100 / **120.6** | Best in slot, signature |
| **Wedge** | 6-star / 500 | Main Attribute +132, Crit Rate +19.5% | 87.3 / 99.4 | Best alternative |
| **Navigator** | 6-star / 490 | Intellect +156, Cryo DMG +43.33% | 85.0 / 90.4 | Comfortable, lower ceiling |
| **Clannibal** | 6-star / 490 | Main Attribute +132, Arts DMG +43.33% | 83.2 / 85.5 | Wrong damage type |
| **Opus: The Living** | 5-star / 411 | Agility +124, Arts DMG +34.67% | 72.0 / 77.3 | Budget only |

Two ways to read that table, and both matter.

**Against the alternatives, the signature is about 17% ahead.** Wedge at R9 scores 99.4 against Artzy’s 120.6, which is 82% of it. Navigator lands at 75%. This is the opposite of the Fluorite situation, where the top three weapons sat inside 1.7 points of each other and the choice barely mattered. On Yvonne the weapon is a real decision.

**Refinement matters more here too.** Artzy R4 to R9 is 100 to 120.6, a 20.6% gain, because its skill stacks: Cryo DMG Dealt +44.8% baseline, plus **+39.2% per stack up to three stacks** after a battle or combo skill critical hit, on 30 second durations. A Yvonne who crits regularly, which is the entire point of her build, holds all three stacks for **+162.4% Cryo DMG**. Refinement scales all of it.

A note on **Navigator**, because it looks better on paper than it tests. Its skill grants Cryo DMG and Critical Rate when Solidification or Corrosion is applied, and **doubles the bonus if the wielder triggered it**, which Yvonne always does. The fit is perfect and it still lands 25% behind, because Artzy’s stacking Cryo bonus is simply larger. Worth knowing that Navigator comes from the Protocol Pass, so reaching a high refinement on it is cheap.

Worth contrasting with Fluorite: Navigator is a trap on her because it rolls Intellect and she is an Agility operator. On Yvonne, Intellect **is** the main attribute, so the same weapon is attribute-correct. Same weapon, opposite verdict, and the reason is the operator’s growth table.

If you are weighing the rerun weapon banner, [the RE-Factor pull math](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/re-factor-headhunting-yvonne-rerun-endfield) covers the guarantee, and run your balance through the [pity calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/tools/pity-calculator) first.

## Best gear sets

Two rules before the recommendation.

**Endfield gear sets are three pieces.** Every suit in the equipment table has one bonus tier, at 3 pieces, unlocking the Bonus Stat and the Set Effect together. There is no 2-piece or 4-piece tier. Four slots means every build is one 3-piece set plus one flex piece, and a lone off-piece grants no set bonus at all.

**Eight sets have no level-70 tier.** Aburrey’s Legacy, AIC Heavy, AIC Light, Armored MSGR, Catastrophe, Mordvolt Insulation, Mordvolt Resistant and Roving MSGR top out below T4, so do not plan a finished build around them.

**MI Security is the set, and it is not close.** Bonus Stat: Critical Rate +5%. Set Effect: after a critical hit, ATK +5% for 5 seconds, stacking five times, and at max stacks another Critical Rate +5%. Yvonne’s ultimate grants up to +60% Critical Rate on its own, so she reaches and holds max stacks trivially, and the set turns that into ATK.

Pieces, with her Intellect main and Agility secondary in mind:

* **MI Security Overalls** (Body): Intellect 87, Agility 58, Basic Attack DMG +13.8%
* **MI Security Hands PPE** (Hand): Intellect 65, Agility 43, Basic Attack DMG +23%
* **MI Security Toolkit** (EDC): Intellect 32, Agility 21, Critical Rate +10.4%
* **LYNX Slab** (EDC flex): Intellect 21, Main Attribute +20.7%

The LYNX Slab in the fourth slot is deliberate and it is the piece people get wrong. It is a bigger stat stick than a second MI Security Toolkit, at the cost of some crit consistency. Take the Slab once your crit rate is healthy; take the second Toolkit while it is not. If you are short of crit specifically, **MI Security Hands PPE T1** swaps the Basic Attack bonus for Critical Rate +8.6%.

Alternatives our gear engine rates for her, none of which beat MI Security on a crit build:

| Build | 3-piece set | What it does |
| --------------------------- | ------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Crit ST** | MI Security | Crit Rate +5%, on-crit ATK stacking to +25% and another +5% Crit Rate |
| **Solidification Reaction** | Pulser Labs | Turns the Solidification she forces into Cryo DMG +50% |
| **Ultimate Uptime** | AIC Fieldwork | Ultimate Gain +10%, all-type DMG +20%, no condition to miss |
| **Infliction Stack** | Tide Surge | Arts DMG +35% after 2+ Arts Infliction stacks |
| **Stagger Finisher** | Swordmancer | An extra 250% hit and Stagger Efficiency |

AIC Fieldwork deserves a mention for a 220-cost ultimate: its Ultimate Gain +10% has no trigger condition at all, which makes it the honest pick while you are still farming MI Security.

For farming order, our [artificing planner](https://endfieldhub.org/tools/artificing-planner) will price what you can actually craft, and the [gear sets database](https://endfieldhub.org/database/gear-sets) has her other build variants.

## Potentials

Hers split cleanly into damage and rotation, which makes the spending decision easy.

| Potential | Effect | Verdict |
| --------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **P1** | Combo radius +20%, 2 extra pulses (4 to 6), interval 0.75s to 0.5s, +15 Ultimate Energy | Rotation, not damage. Gets the ultimate out before the 7th skillcast |
| **P2** | Intellect +20, Critical Rate +7% | Straight damage |
| **P3** | Freezing Point to +30% Crit DMG vs Cryo Infliction, **+60% vs Solidification** | Straight damage, and it scales with her whole loop |
| **P4** | Battle skill returns 10 SP if the explosion hits only one enemy | Single-target smoothing |
| **P5** | During the ultimate, **ATK +10% and Critical DMG +30%** | The biggest damage potential |

**P2, P3 and P5 are the damage stops. P1 is the rotation stop**, and it is better than it reads: the extra 15 energy can land her ultimate before the seventh skillcast, which saves several seconds per rotation even though it adds almost no damage on paper.

The investment order that matters most is not a potential at all. **A P0 Yvonne with Artzy Tyrannical beats a P1 Yvonne with a substitute weapon**, because the signature gap is roughly 17% and no single early potential is worth that.

## Best teams

Start from who supplies Cryo Infliction, then fill for damage. Our team tier list rates two Yvonne comps highly:

| Team | Members | Clear | Notes |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ | ------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Cryo-Nature Executioners** (SS) | Last Rite, Yvonne, Gilberta, Ardelia | \~52s single target | Gilberta groups, Ardelia supplies Corrosion, two Cryo leads spike Solidification |
| **Cryo Burst Control** (S) | Yvonne, Tangtang, Xaihi, Gilberta | \~60s boss | Tangtang’s time stop creates a clean window for the crit nuke |

For the pure single-target rotation, community testing prefers a different third seat. Here is how the applicators grade:

| Operator | Infliction | Buffs | Notes |

### The Last Rite problem

This is the pick most people get wrong, and it is worth being blunt about because our own team tier list ranks the Last Rite comp SS.

Both operators are Cryo. Both want the same infliction stacks. Last Rite receives no energy from teammates, so feeding her ultimate means feeding her stacks that Yvonne wanted to consume, and Xaihi’s amp only lands on one operator. Community testing puts the result at roughly **10% less total damage** than the same team with Perlica in that seat, even with both carries on their signature weapons.

Both things can be true: the Last Rite comp posts a strong AoE-inclusive clear, and for pure single-target Yvonne damage, Perlica is the better seat. If you are running Last Rite anyway, let Yvonne’s battle skill connect **before** Last Rite’s combo on the first 3-stack window, or the stacks vanish before Yvonne can bank the energy.

### Budget: Fluorite as the applicator

Yvonne’s own build data pairs her with Xaihi, Gilberta and **Fluorite**, and Fluorite is a 4-star. Her whole function is adding a stack of whatever infliction is already on the target, which is exactly what Yvonne’s battle skill eats. If you have no second 6-star applicator, that is the cheap way to run this team, and the [Fluorite build guide](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/fluorite-build-guide-weapons-gear-teams-endfield) covers how to gear her for it.

## The rotation: the Core 7

The target is 220 energy, and the tested route there is **seven team skillcasts**:

* **4x Xaihi** skills
* **2x Yvonne** skills, the first at **1 stack**, the second at **3 stacks**
* **1x flex** skill from the fourth seat, or a fifth Xaihi skill if that operator’s skill is not useful

Step by step:

1. **Build stacks with Xaihi.** Do not touch Yvonne’s skill yet.
2. **Yvonne battle skill at 1 stack.** Forces Solidification, banks 40 energy, and her talent turns the next basic into an instant Final Strike.
3. **Final Strike into the Solidified target.** This triggers Flashfreezer υ37, which adds energy and reapplies Solidification.
4. **Keep building with Xaihi.**
5. **Yvonne battle skill at 3 stacks.** This is the big one: 10 base plus 90 from stacks.
6. **Flex skill**, then the second combo.
7. **Ultimate with Solidification on the target**, ramp the 10 Critical Rate stacks, and dodge cancel the final strike the moment it resolves.

The single most expensive mistake is firing her battle skill on cooldown. A 1-stack cast is worth 40 energy and a 3-stack cast is worth 100\. Pressing it early does not just waste damage, it lengthens the whole rotation.

## Supporting cast loadouts

Yvonne is a team investment, so these matter as much as her own gear.

**Xaihi.** Detonation Unit or Chivalric Virtues, very close in value. If you have both and are running Perlica, put Chivalric Virtues on Xaihi and Detonation Unit on Perlica for the Arts Intensity. Gear is Eternal Xiranite over a pure Intellect build: the uptime across the whole rotation beats a slightly stronger burst at the end.

**Gilberta.** Delivery Guaranteed edges out a maxed Stanza of Memorials here, because Yvonne’s burst runs over 5 seconds and you have to hold Gilberta’s ultimate for the final hit, so the early portion gets nothing. She needs **52.54% Ultimate Gain** for this rotation. With her signature weapon you will have enough spare to run Swordmancer instead, which is genuinely useful because a Cryo team’s stagger is low.

**Perlica.** Detonation Unit for the Arts Intensity if Xaihi has Chivalric Virtues, otherwise Oblivion for her own damage. Pulser Labs set with Eternal Xiranite gloves to meet the rotation’s energy requirement.

## How to build her by player type

**No Cryo support yet.** Build the support first. A fully geared Yvonne with nobody to supply infliction is worse than a half-built one next to Xaihi. Start with Xaihi, or Fluorite if you want the free option.

**One Cryo team, moderate resources.** Artzy Tyrannical over potentials, every time. MI Security three pieces plus whichever fourth piece your crit rate needs. Level Ultimate, then Basic, then stop.

**Chasing clear times.** P5 for the ultimate window, P3 for Freezing Point, then P1 for the rotation. Run Perlica in the third seat for single target and swap to Gilberta when the content has adds.

**Contingency Contract.** She grades SS on the CC board, one step above her general S tier, because consuming Solidification delivers exactly the kind of burst spike that inflated single-target boss HP is built to resist. She is also 6th on the [stagger tier list](https://endfieldhub.org/database/stagger-tier-list) at 77.0 total, grade S.

## Common mistakes to avoid

**Running her with no Cryo or Nature applicator.** Her battle skill consumes stacks, it does not create them. This is not a soft downside.

**Firing her battle skill on cooldown.** 1 stack is 40 energy, 3 stacks is 100\. Timing it is most of the operator.

**Taking Ultimate DMG gear pieces.** Her ultimate deals its damage through enhanced basic attacks, so Basic Attack DMG bonuses are what apply. MI Security Gloves T1 has Ultimate DMG +56.1% on the card and it is the wrong piece for her.

**Running “4-piece MI Security”.** There is no four-piece tier. Three pieces gives the full bonus, and the fourth slot should be a LYNX Slab.

**Not dodge cancelling the ultimate.** You are giving away close to a second of every rotation.

**Pairing her with Last Rite for single target.** About 10% behind the Perlica version, for the reasons above.

**Quoting her multipliers at level 1.** Her battle skill is 111% at level 1 and 250% at level 12\. Most published numbers for her are the level 1 values.

## What is still untested

* **The 10% Last Rite figure is community testing, not ours.** It comes from invested, signature-weapon builds on both carries, so it may not hold at lower investment where Last Rite’s independence is worth more.
* **The damage split (49.34 / 38.75 / 5.98 / 5.92) is a single testing pass.** The shape is clearly right, and it matches how her ultimate works, but treat the decimals as indicative.
* **Weapon percentages are relative to Artzy at R4**, not absolute DPS, and they assume the signature’s three Cryo stacks are held. A build that crits less often loses more than the table suggests.
* **P1’s real value depends on your rotation speed.** Whether the extra 15 energy actually removes a skillcast depends on what your fourth seat contributes.

## Is Yvonne worth pulling on the rerun?

She returns **September 24, 2026** on **\[Resplendent Spectrum\] RE-Factor Headhunting #1**, the first banner of an entirely new type, running until the next version update. Her signature runs alongside it on **\[Tag Artist Issue\] RE-Factor Issue #1**.

| **Guarantee** | 120 attempts, with a catch (below) | **Artzy Tyrannical within 8 attempts** |

Two things about that table matter more than anything else on this page if you are spending.

### The weapon is the better purchase, and it is not close

**Artzy Tyrannical is guaranteed within 8 issue attempts.** That is one of the tightest weapon guarantees in the game, and this guide has already shown what the weapon is worth: roughly **17% of her damage** against the next best option, more than any single early potential gives you.

So the spending order is unusual here. On most operators you buy the character and treat the signature as a luxury. On Yvonne, **if you already own her, the weapon banner is the purchase and the operator banner is optional.** A P0 Yvonne holding Artzy Tyrannical beats a P1 Yvonne holding Wedge, comfortably.

Worth noting the off-rate weapon pool is not filler either. Wedge is her own second-best weapon, and Chivalric Virtues is a live option on Xaihi in exactly the team you are building.

### Pull if

* **You own a Cryo infliction applicator.** Xaihi, Gilberta, Snowshine, Estella, Last Rite, or even a 4-star Fluorite. This is the hard requirement, not a preference.
* **You lack a dedicated single-target boss killer.** She is S tier in general content and **SS on the Contingency Contract board**, and she is 6th on the stagger tier list at 77.0\. That niche has survived five versions.
* **You already own her and skipped the signature.** Eight attempts for a 17% damage swing is the cheapest upgrade available to you this phase.
* **You enjoy execution.** Her ceiling sits behind the 1-stack-then-3-stack timing and the dodge cancel. If that sounds like fun rather than homework, she rewards it.

### Skip if

* **You have no Cryo support at all.** A fully geared Yvonne with nobody to supply infliction does less than a half-built one standing next to Xaihi. Buy the support first; that is genuinely the better use of the same pulls.
* **You already run a built Last Rite as your Cryo carry.** The two compete for the same stacks and the same amp buff, and doubling up costs you about 10% rather than gaining you anything.
* **You want a plug-and-play carry.** She is the payoff at the end of a rotation, not an operator you drop into a team and press buttons with.
* **You are saving for 1.6.** Nothing about her is time-limited in the way a debut is, and RE-Factor attempt progress carries forward into later banners in the same named series.

### Two rules that are still unconfirmed

Both of these change the answer, and neither has been officially published yet. We are flagging them rather than guessing.

1. **The 120-attempt featured guarantee may only trigger once across the whole \[Resplendent Spectrum\] series**, rather than resetting per banner. If true, carryover is a single allowance rather than a renewing benefit, and spending it here means not having it for #2 or #3\. Our only source for this is a fandom stub.
2. **Whether the 30 bonus attempts count toward the attempt counter is unknown.** If they do, 90 paid attempts reach the 120 guarantee, a 25% discount, and the verdict for veterans shifts noticeably toward pulling.

The full pull math, the milestone ladder and the carryover mechanics are worked through in [the RE-Factor Headhunting analysis](https://endfieldhub.org/blog/re-factor-headhunting-yvonne-rerun-endfield), and you can run your own balance through the [pity calculator](https://endfieldhub.org/tools/pity-calculator) before you commit.

### The short version

If you own a Cryo applicator and no boss killer, pull her. If you own her already, skip the operator banner and take the eight attempts for the weapon. If you own neither her nor a single Cryo support, buy the support and come back for her on \[Resplendent Spectrum\] #2.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**What is the best weapon for Yvonne in Arknights: Endfield?**Artzy Tyrannical, her signature. It rolls Intellect +156 (her main attribute) and Critical Rate +19.5%, and its skill grants Cryo DMG +44.8% plus a further +39.2% per stack on battle or combo skill crits, up to three stacks. In damage testing it scores 120.6 at R9 where Wedge reaches 99.4 and Navigator 90.4, so it is roughly 17% ahead of the next best weapon at equal refinement.

**What gear set should Yvonne use?**A three-piece MI Security set with a LYNX Slab in the fourth slot. MI Security gives Critical Rate +5% and stacks ATK +5% per critical hit up to five times, adding another Critical Rate +5% at max stacks, which is built for a crit carry. Endfield sets are three pieces, not four, so the fourth slot is a pure stat stick.

**Why does Yvonne’s ultimate cost 220 energy?**It is the highest ultimate cost on the roster and it is the whole design. Her battle skill returns 10 Ultimate Energy plus 30 per Arts Infliction stack it consumes, and her combo skill returns 20 more, so she is built to convert her team’s infliction stacks into her own ultimate. The tested rotation needs seven team skillcasts to get there.

**Which of Yvonne’s skills should I level first?**Ultimate, then basic attack. Community damage testing puts her ultimate at 49.34% of her total damage and her basic attacks at 38.75%, because her ultimate works by enhancing basic attacks. Battle skill at 5.98% and combo at 5.92% are a distant third and fourth.

**Can Yvonne apply her own Cryo Infliction?**No, and this is the single most important thing about her. Her battle skill consumes Cryo or Nature Infliction to force Solidification, so a teammate has to put the stacks there first. Without an applicator like Xaihi, Gilberta, Fluorite or Last Rite she cannot start her own loop.

**Is Yvonne good with Last Rite?**They work, but they fight each other. Both want the same Cryo Infliction stacks and the same Xaihi amp buff, and Last Rite receives no energy from teammates. Community testing puts a Yvonne plus Last Rite team about 10% behind the same team running Perlica instead, even with both operators on their signature weapons.

**Which Yvonne potential matters most?**P2, P3 and P5 are the damage potentials. P5 grants ATK +10% and Critical DMG +30% during the ultimate, P3 pushes Freezing Point to +30% Critical DMG against Cryo Infliction and +60% against Solidification, and P2 gives Intellect +20 and Critical Rate +7%. P1 is a rotation quality-of-life upgrade rather than damage.

**Should I dodge cancel Yvonne’s ultimate?**Yes. The final strike of Cryoblasting Pistolier has a long aftercast. Dodging the moment the damage resolves saves roughly 50 frames, close to a full second, every single rotation.

**Is Yvonne worth pulling on the September 2026 rerun?**If you own a Cryo infliction applicator, yes. She is S tier in general content and SS on the Contingency Contract board, and the rerun is the cheapest chance to close the roughly 17% gap between her signature weapon and the alternatives. If you have no Cryo support at all, build the support first.

## Final verdict

Yvonne is a 220-energy ultimate wearing an operator. Build Artzy Tyrannical, three MI Security pieces and a LYNX Slab, take Basic Attack damage bonuses rather than Ultimate ones, level Ultimate then Basic, and learn the 1-stack-then-3-stack skill timing before you worry about anything else.

She is the strongest single-target Cryo burst in the game when the rotation lands, and she does nothing at all without someone to supply the stacks. Both halves of that sentence are the operator.
