Am I the only one who thinks the combat system needs a rework?

When the game first launched, I was distracted by everything that was going on, so I only really noticed this once the gacha unlocked and I pulled Last Rite. Enemies had around 1 zillion HP, and the combat felt repetitive and boring. At first, I thought it was because of my lack of equipment, so I played all the way to the end of the story and finally got good gear, but the combat was still boring. So I decided to switch teams to what everyone said was the most fun one, Avywenna. She was fun for longer than Last Rite at the beginning, but even she quickly became boring to play. I think the main reason is that it takes 13 seconds to use her combo skill twice at the start of combat, and after the first time it takes 26 seconds for the rest of the fight. That could be fun if something else were happening, but all you’re really doing is hitting the enemy with basic attacks that barely move their HP bar while applying combos and using skills from other characters that aren’t fun to use. There’s a game called V Rising, and in it there’s a dagger weapon whose gameplay is very similar to Avywenna. I used that weapon from the start to the end of the game and it never got boring, maybe because the basic attacks actually dealt meaningful damage, or because it had a dodge that constantly saved me. Who knows. Honestly, what’s carrying this game for me right now is the Factory, but I’ve already done everything with it. At this point, I have zero motivation to complete any combat content. I’ll wait until version 1.1, but I’m not sure this game is for me anymore. I was expecting something closer to OG Arknights.

Combat is kinda .... wrong, ngl. My biggest issue with it is the amount of time I spend chaining my basic attack combo doing basically no damage simply because I have to either just wait or because I don't have SP Recently I went about getting trimmed medals and the 3rd boss, 1st phase in particular, this is where I really felt it. Chaining basic attack into tentacle like 3 times and barely tickling it just to then FINALLY kill it and then move to the next one and ALMOST ONESHOT it with my battle skill ... bruh ... and you also have to actually dodge otherwise your basic attack chain is interrupted and wasted. I feel like SP generation needs to be doubled and CD of battle skills halved and DMG redistributed a bit towards basic attacks, this is just incredibly frustrating othewrise
