Question

I'm mainly asking this since I see alot of people talk about how endfield has some pretty low points in its story so far or how much it feels similar to other gacha games which are true in some cases a bit too strongly. I can't imagine arknights itself never had points where it got low or had some questionable moments that seemed really awkward for whatever reason. Although I've played arknights since its global release I admittingly haven't always paid attention to the story or characters but I never felt there was times in the main or event stories something felt off. So far the only thing feeling off for me with endfield is the game having some oversights in it is mainly what mostly everyone else has said about us knowing some characters before we've met them in the story or how we're treated in the game compared to the side quests or such and compared to the arknights story it self, I don't really think endfield is all that bad of a story outside of some outliers when you understand it isn't in the same world situation like arknights story was.

Can’t say much about the OG Arknights…but personally, I don’t think it compares too horribly. At least, when comparing early-game stories, because quite frankly it feels a bit unfair to compare the story of a month-old game to a game that’s have 6 years to build its lore. I mean, people talk about Endfield not really having nuance, but…Arknights in the early days was also kinda black and white. Not to the same extent as Endfield, admittedly, but it’s there. Honestly, I’d wait before comparing the two stories.
