Pity System & Pull Rates Explained
Last updated: 2026-01-20
* TL;DR - Key Points
- * 120 pulls = guaranteed 6-star (50/50 for featured)
- * Pity does NOT carry over between banners
- * Every 30 pulls = 10 bonus pulls (don't count for pity)
- * Banners last 2 weeks - plan accordingly
- * Never pull without 120 saved
Pull Rates
| Rarity | Base Rate | Pity |

| 6-Star | ~2% | 120 pulls |
| 5-Star | ~8% | - |
| 4-Star | ~40% | 10 pulls |
| 3-Star | ~50% | - |
* Rates are approximate based on community testing. Official rates may vary.
The Pity System Explained
120-Pull Guarantee
If you don't pull a 6-star naturally, you're guaranteed one at exactly 120 pulls on a limited banner. When you hit this guarantee, there's a 50/50 chance to get the featured character vs. a random 6-star.
CRITICAL: Pity Does NOT Carry Over
Unlike some gacha games, your pity progress resets to zero when a banner ends. If you're at 100 pity and the banner ends, you lose all that progress. Never start pulling unless you can reach 120 within the banner duration.
What Happens After You Get a 6-Star?
After pulling any 6-star (naturally or at pity), your pity counter resets to 0. If you got the featured character, great! If you lost the 50/50, you'll need another 120 pulls to guarantee them.
The Bonus Pull System
How It Works
Every 30 pulls on a limited banner grants you 10 "urgent recruitment" pulls. These are temporary, banner-specific bonus rolls.
Good News
- * 6-stars from bonus pulls DON'T reset pity
- * They're essentially free extra chances
- * No risk, only reward
Bad News
- * They DON'T count toward 120 guarantee
- * They expire when the banner ends
- * Can create FOMO to pull without 120 saved
Bonus Pull Math
* 30 pulls = 10 bonus (40 total)
* 60 pulls = 20 bonus (80 total)
* 90 pulls = 30 bonus (120 total)
* 120 pulls = 40 bonus (160 total)
Optimal Pull Strategy
The Golden Rule
NEVER pull unless you have 120 pulls saved
For F2P Players:
- Save ALL currency until you have 120 pulls (60,000 Oroberyl)
- Research upcoming banners before committing
- Pull on banners where you'd be happy with any outcome (featured or 50/50 loss)
- Skip banners if the off-banner 6-stars aren't useful to you
- Consider waiting for a 3rd banner - if you lose 50/50, you can still get prior limiteds
Pull Technique:
- Do x10 pulls until you reach 60 pity
- Switch to single pulls from 60 to 120
- This way you don't "waste" pulls past the soft pity
- Stop immediately when you get a 6-star
Advanced: 240-Pull Strategy
Save 240 pulls and target the 3rd limited banner. If you lose the 50/50 on banner 3, you can still obtain a limited from banners 1 or 2. This maximizes your coverage when you can't guarantee multiple characters.
! Banner Duration: Only 2 Weeks
Limited banners last approximately 17 days.
This creates pressure because:
- You must accumulate 120 pulls within this window
- F2P players may struggle to earn 120 pulls in 2 weeks
- Pity resets when banner ends, wasting any progress
- Rerun frequency is currently unknown
Solution: Always have 120 pulls ready BEFORE a banner starts.
Currency Quick Reference
