About this database

Base skills are the passive bonuses your operators contribute when assigned to the four Dijiang ship rooms — Reception Room, Manufacturing Cabin, Growth Chamber, and Control Nexus. This page lists the E2 (Elite 2) and E4 (Elite 4) base skills for all 27 operators currently in Arknights: Endfield, alongside their faction, hobby tags, expertise tags, and preferred gifts. Click any column header to sort.

Use this table to plan your ship rotations. If your Reception Room is your active priority (mood management), filter by E4 skills that target Reception Room. If you are pushing production for an event timer, match E4 Manufacturing Cabin skills with operators whose expertise tags (Tool Assembly, Cooking) align with the room's task. Preferred gifts speed up affinity gain — handy when you want to fast-track an operator's bond rewards.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do operator base skills unlock?

Base skills unlock at promotion milestones. The first base skill (column E2 here) activates when you reach Elite 2 — generally after the second breakthrough on a 6★ operator, which costs a moderate amount of breakthrough materials and credits. The second base skill (E4) requires Elite 4, the maximum promotion tier, which is significantly more expensive in materials and is usually reserved for operators you actively use in your AIC and Dijiang ship rotations. Both skills stack with the operator's expertise tags for facility assignment bonuses.

What are the four ship rooms and what do their skills do?

The Dijiang ship has four base skill room types. Reception Room (Guest Room) skills affect clue collection and mood — operators here speed up clue gathering and slow team mood drop. Manufacturing Cabin skills boost production efficiency for crafted items. Growth Chamber skills accelerate plant and mineral cultivation in your infinite planting loops. Control Nexus skills handle ship-wide modifiers like weapon EXP rate and global production. Match each operator's base skill to the room type to activate the effect.

How do operator hobbies and expertise tags affect base skill assignment?

Each operator has Hobby tags (Nature, Technology, Culture, Sports, etc.) and Expertise tags (Erudite, Combat Technique, Cooking, Tool Assembly, etc.). When you place an operator in a Dijiang ship room, matching tags between the operator and the active task in that room provide additional bonuses on top of the base skill. For example, an operator with the Cooking expertise tag working in a kitchen-related task amplifies output. Hobbies also affect mood drop rate when operators socialise during downtime.

What are preferred gifts and how do they work?

Each operator has a giftPreferTag that maps to specific in-game gift items (shown in the Preferred Gifts column). Giving an operator their preferred gift during ship dialogue events significantly boosts their affinity and unlocks bond rewards faster. Generic gifts work but at lower rates. Stock up on gifts during regional events — Tundra events drop Tundra-themed gifts, Hongshan events drop Jinlong gifts. Use the search bar to find which operators want a specific gift you have lying in your inventory.

Are the base skill values fixed or do they level up?

Base skill effects are fixed per promotion tier — the E2 skill always has its listed value (e.g., 'Mood Regen +14%') and the E4 skill always has its listed value. There is no per-skill upgrade path. The progression comes from promoting more operators to E2/E4 and rotating them strategically. A common optimisation pattern is to promote two or three operators with complementary E4 skills for your top-priority ship rooms, then promote everyone else only to E2 for the breadth of small bonuses.
