Gacha system mechanics explained

The gacha system has 120 guarantee rate-up with no pity carry-over. Standard 80 pity 50/50 with no guarantee, but pity DOES carry over. Weapon rate-ups have harsh 25% chance (not 75%). After 30 pulls, you get a free 10-pull on the current banner that doesn't count toward pity. Arsenal tickets (for weapons) can be acquired with oroberyl currency. The system is intentionally complex with sunk cost mechanics designed to encourage continued pulling.

Single Pull vs Ten Pull Strategy

Single pulling consistently over long periods can result in significant pull savings (221 pulls saved over 3 years according to one player). This strategy supports spark mechanics and allows for maxing out specific desired characters when they release.

Early Oroberyl Farm Sources

Early sources of Oroberyl include: Authority Level 1 & 2 completion, Laevatain Combat Drills, random chests and achievements, possible transfer from standard banner currency, or 1-2 extra minutes of exploration (big chest usually available early on map side).

Plan for 120 pulls before committing

Wait until you have accumulated 120 pulls before deciding which character to target. This gives you flexibility and time to see future banners and make informed decisions.

Wait and assess before pulling

Don't pull immediately on release. First understand your income rate and how the game works. Try to get by with free characters without spending limited banner currency until you have a grasp of the economy.

Pull strategy for pity

Consider doing x10 pulls until 60 pity, then switch to single pulls to 120 pity. This is because guarantee pity doesn't share between banners.

Bonus pulls don't count to guarantee

The 10 bonus pulls you get after every 30 limited pulls do NOT count towards your 120 pull guarantee. They're essentially free additional rolls but won't progress you toward your spark.

Advanced pulling strategy

Save 240 pulls and target the 3rd banner if you want to maximize coverage. If you lose the 50/50 on the 3rd banner, you can still get one of the previous limited operators from earlier banners.

Guarantee doesn't carry over

The 120-pull guarantee does NOT carry over between banners. Once a banner ends, your progress resets. Never start pulling without enough to reach guarantee within the 2-week period.

Banners only last 2 weeks

Banner duration is only 2 weeks (17 days), which creates time pressure. Make sure you have 120 pulls (60k currency) ready before a banner starts, or you risk not reaching the guarantee in time.

Treat bonus pulls as bonus, not goal

The bonus pulls (every 30 pulls gives 10 temporary pulls) are a small bonus for when you commit to a banner with your 120 saved pulls. They're not worth aiming for or rolling randomly without a full spark.

Bonus pulls don't reset pity

If you get a 6-star in the bonus 10 pulls (earned after 30 pulls), it does NOT reset your pity counter. This makes bonus pulls safer since they won't hurt your guarantee progress.
