Ranged character positioning - stay closer than max range

Ranged characters like Perlica and Yvonne have limited effective range due to enemy movement. Enemies constantly move out of basic attack and skill range. Character movement during animations also affects targeting. Position closer to enemies rather than at max range edge to maintain skill/ult availability, as you'll need to reposition when enemies approach anyway.

Use gun towers when under-leveled for encounters
