The Blight Tide has two cycles: a short ~14 second pattern (recognizable by a 'hook' shape) and a long ~17 minute tide pattern. The lowest tide point occurs shortly before the hook appears, and the highest point occurs a few minutes after a hook passes. Use these timings to plan activities.
