Last Rite has rigid burst window requirements that punish missed steps: must apply 3 Cryo Infliction stacks BEFORE using Ultimate, even if Ultimate is ready. Talent-gating means you cannot fast-dump burst without stack setup first. Rotation feels stiff - missing one step drops efficiency significantly. Small hitboxes and lock-on issues can make mob clearing uncomfortable in early/mid game.
Best weapon: Forgeborn Scathe (signature) - Heat DMG +16%, Basic Attack DMG +75% for 20s after Ultimate. Alternative: Umbral Torch. Best gear set: Hot Work - Arts Intensity +30, Heat DMG +60% for 8s when applying Combustion. For daily farming comfort, consider 4-piece Ultimate gain setup (tradeoff: lower damage).
Laevatain is complete at P0 (0 ascension). Her Ultimate provides strong AoE damage and can cross waves if damage is high enough. Weakness: low damage when Ultimate is down. At P0, needs 2 Battle Skills to reach 4 Melting Flame stacks for full energy recharge. Ultimate Energy carries between fights, but Melting Flame stacks do NOT. Cannot gain SP while Ultimate is active.
Sustainless physical teams struggle in Umbral Monument Agony mode, especially stages with poison fog. Ardelia provides critical healing through her sheep summons that keeps the team above 70% HP in prolonged fights. Even a low-potential Ardelia can carry survival where raw DPS teams fail.
