Gacha pity system mechanics and 50/50 strategy

Endfield uses a pity system with hard pity at 300 pulls for limited characters. The 6* guarantee and rate-up guarantee can overlap. If you win a 50/50 late in a banner (e.g., 6 pulls before guaranteed 6* and 9 pulls before guaranteed rate-up), you lose significant value: the 50 bond quota, potential duplicate upgrades, or an extra new 6*. Unlike Arknights where limited pity is a 'claim' type (you can still claim the unit even if obtained), Endfield's system means winning 50/50 late removes future guarantees entirely. Consider this when deciding to pull late in banners.

Realistic Pull Income Expectations for F2P Players

F2P pull income breakdown: 130-140 pulls from one-time resources (region clearing, side quests, authority level rewards). Only 41 pulls from recurring sources per banner (30 are expiring tickets). Total ~160-170 pulls for clearing 2 regions in version 1.0. Realistic expectation is 30-50 pulls per patch from recurring sources, meaning you may need to skip 1-2 banners per patch. Monthly pass + battle pass at level 35 with Authority level 46 yielded 70 pulls in 3 days of early game.

Gacha System: Free Pull Strategy & Trap Awareness

Each banner gives 10 FREE pulls: 5 from 7-day login (tickets finish dispensing day 7) and 5 from credit store. You need to have pulled recently to earn credits for the store tickets. Free ten-pull milestone at 30 pulls. If you pulled 60 times last banner, you already have a free ten-pull waiting, putting you at 20/60 on current banner. At 60 pulls you get another free ten-pull toward the next banner. Plan pulls to maximize these free pull cycles.

Lifeng gacha pity at 75 pulls, available on multiple banners

Lifeng was obtained at the 75th pull (hard pity). He was already acquired through the new horizons banner and appeared again in the current banner, indicating the same operator can be obtained from multiple banner types. Time-limited pulls don't need to be accepted

You don't have to accept time-limited/expiring pull mechanics. Community feedback can remove these - the Infinity Nikki community had expiring pulls at launch, gave feedback, and devs removed them while still making revenue. Provide sustained feedback to devs about this QoL issue until it stops.

Optimal Gacha Pulling Strategy - Don't Stop at 30/60 Pulls

NEVER aim to pull to just 30/60 and stop just to make use of the 30 and 60 pull rewards. Data analysis shows this strategy is misleading as many 'extra' 6 stars will be non-limited dupes. Instead, aim to skip 2 in every 3 banners on average and pull on units you like. You should buy the 5 free pulls every new banner using AIC quota. This approach maximizes total limited 6-stars for F2P players while still allowing you to pull for preferred units.
