What Is Wuling?

Wuling is the second major region in Arknights: Endfield, unlocking at Authority Level 43 through the "Arrival at Wuling" main story quest. It introduces new mechanics, materials, and an entirely separate economy from Valley IV. If Valley IV is your early-to-mid game foundation, Wuling is where the endgame lives.

The region centers on Jingyu Valley, a mountainous area with its own resources, dungeons, and outpost. Everything in Wuling operates on parallel systems to Valley IV -- separate Stock Bills, unique crops, region-specific factory materials -- but nothing transfers directly between the two economies.

Arrival Checklist

When you first unlock Wuling at Authority Level 43, follow this priority order:

1. 1. Unlock all Jingyu Valley teleport points -- Wuling is large and has no fast travel until you activate them
2. 2. Locate the Wuling Stock Redistribution terminal -- in the Jingyu Valley settlement area (see the Stock Redistribution Guide)
3. 3. Transfer Valley IV batteries to a Wuling Thermal Bank for bootstrap power
4. 4. Build your first Forge of the Sky to begin Xiranite production
5. 5. Start gathering Yazhen and Jincao in the wild for endgame consumables
6. 6. Set up Sky King Flats outpost to start earning Wuling Stock Bills
7. 7. Explore for collectibles and resources -- use the interactive map to track progress

Wuling Economy vs Valley Economy

Wuling runs on a completely separate economy from Valley IV. The two Stock Bill currencies are non-convertible -- you cannot trade Valley Stock Bills for Wuling Stock Bills or vice versa. You need to build Wuling income from scratch.

Jingyu Valley Exploration

Jingyu Valley is the first area you access in Wuling. It is larger than any single Valley IV sub-region, with unique resources, enemies, and landmarks.

Use the interactive map with 5600+ markers to find specific resources, collectibles, and landmarks across all Wuling sub-regions.

Wuling Factory Bootstrap

Your first challenge in Wuling is getting an AIC factory running with no local power infrastructure. Everything must be bootstrapped from Valley IV resources.

Bootstrap Strategy

1. 1. Transfer Valley IV batteries (LC or SC Valley Batteries) to a Wuling Thermal Bank via your Depot
2. 2. Run the Thermal Bank to provide initial power
3. 3. Build a Forge of the Sky -- the Wuling-exclusive facility that produces Xiranite
4. 4. Craft LC Wuling Batteries from Xiranite materials
5. 5. Transition to local power as LC Wuling Battery production stabilizes

Wuling Crops & Consumables

Two crop families are exclusive to the Wuling region and unavailable anywhere in Valley IV. Both produce endgame-quality consumables.

Why These Matter

Start gathering wild specimens immediately upon arriving -- even before your planting loops are set up. Early specimens feed your Seed-Picking Units later.

Xiranite Priority Crafting

With only 2 Forges of the Sky available total, what you craft and when matters significantly. Poor allocation stalls your progression.

Sky King Flats Outpost

Sky King Flats is Wuling's only outpost, located in Jingyu Valley. It is your sole source of Wuling Stock Bills from outpost trading.

Unlock Requirements

• * Complete the "Where Danger Sleeps" main mission
• * Complete the subsequent exploration mission
• * Authority Level 43+

Wuling Dungeons & Combat

Wuling dungeons represent endgame difficulty. They drop the materials needed for Tier 3 gear sets -- the best equipment in the game. Come prepared.

Level 43-60 Progression Roadmap

After arriving in Wuling, your priorities shift from Valley IV expansion to endgame preparation. Here is the recommended order:

Regional Development

Wuling has its own Regional Development Level (RDL), tracked separately from Valley IV. Raise it through:

• * Outpost Prosperity -- largest contributor via Sky King Flats trading
• * Factory upgrades -- expanding and upgrading Wuling AIC facilities
• * Main story missions -- Wuling story progression
• * Mining spot construction -- building rigs at Wuling ore veins
