Official [Sanctuary of Ink] version calendar. Graphic (c) Gryphline.
Every dated bar on the official Version 1.6 calendar, transcribed. Start dates come straight off the graphic’s own date chips. The calendar does not label end dates, so where one appears below it comes from the Sanctuary of Ink special program recap.
Looking for the previous patch? The Version 1.5 Dreamscape of Wind and Snow calendar covers September 2 to October 14, 2026.
TL;DR: Key Points

- October 22: the new Umbral Monument series, Murmurs of the Deep Forest, plus Carly’s Verdant Anthology.
- Phase 2: October 29, 2026 at 12:00. Tangtang’s RE-Factor banner, Tender Sprig Issue, Arena of Games and Contingency Readiness.
- Phase 3: November 5, 2026 at 12:00. Argent Flow, Moongleam Issue, Season of Fervor and Contingency Contract: Indigo Experimental Operation.
- Late adds: a second Contingency Contract stage and Delver of the Cryptic: Fade Beyond the Painting on November 12, then Sanity Supply and a Fade Beyond the Painting series update on November 19.
- New date from the calendar: the program only implied the Contingency Contract season would start around November 5. The calendar confirms it.
Headhunting Banners
| Date | Banner | Operator | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10.15 | [Rejuvenation] | Si (6-star Cryo Supporter) | Chartered Headhunting |
| 10.29 | [Ancestral Spring Flows Anew] | Tangtang | RE-Factor Headhunting #1 |
| 11.05 | [The Hearth Fire Beckons the Starry Flow] | Argent Flow (6-star Electric Guard) | Chartered Headhunting |
[Rejuvenation] closes on November 5 at 11:59 and Argent Flow’s banner opens at 12:00 the same day, so the two Chartered banners do not overlap. Tangtang’s rerun sits across the handover, from October 29 at 12:00 to November 19 at 11:59. The Si operator showcase covers her kit, the Tangtang 6-star analysis covers whether the rerun is worth it, and the pity calculator shows how far your Oroberyls stretch across all three.
Arsenal Issues (Weapon Banners)
| Date | Issue | Weapon | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10.15 | Seal of Jade Issue | Jade Vessel (6-star greatsword) | Arsenal Issue |
| 10.29 | Tender Sprig Issue | Brigand’s Calling | RE-Factor Issue, to Nov 19 at 11:59 |
| 11.05 | Moongleam Issue | Lunar Calling (6-star sword) | Arsenal Issue |
| Already running | Bedazzled Issue | Carried in from Version 1.4 | |
| Already running | Deep Cold Issue | Carried in from Version 1.5 |
Bedazzled Issue’s bar stops at the November 5 boundary on the graphic, while Deep Cold Issue runs past the right edge. Neither end is labelled. Seal of Jade Issue and Moongleam Issue each run across three Chartered banners, starting with the banner they open alongside.
Area and Guide Event
| Date | Event | Type | Region |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10.15 | Wuling: Si’s Painting | New area | Si’s painted world |
| 10.15 | All the Inky Hues | Guide Event | Si’s Painting |
The 1.6 story takes place inside a world Si painted herself. All the Inky Hues is the guide event that walks you through it: unlocking teleport points and opening Protocol Crates.

| 11.12 | Delver of the Cryptic: Fade Beyond the Painting | Permanent Puzzle-Solving Event |
| 11.19 | Fade Beyond the Painting | Series Update |
| 11.19 | Sanity Supply | Limited-Time Event |
Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves is the inn-and-farm mode, and it stays in the game after the event ends. Arena of Games is the poker-hand follow-up to Trial of Swordmancy. Both sign-ins hand out 5 limited Headhunting Permits for their own operator’s banner.
The calendar splits the new Contingency Contract season into three bars: the season itself and Secret Sanctuary on November 5, then a second stage on November 12. The November 12 bar’s sub-label is too small to read on the published graphic. The program mentioned a mystery Key Criterion added after the season starts, which may be what this bar marks, but that is our inference. Contingency Readiness opens a week ahead on October 29 to stock Sanity, Gear Artificing Catalyst and Coolant Gel. See the Contingency Contract hub for the current season’s teams.
Delver of the Cryptic’s Fade Beyond the Painting is a spatial set of six Protocol Spaces released one after another, so the November 19 “Series Update” bar marks the next batch.
Gameplay Updates
| Date | Update | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Already running | Monumental Etching: Shadow Marked | Event carried in from 1.5, closes October 19 |
| 10.15 | Echoes of War | Permanent Challenge Mode continues |
| 10.15 | Season of Phantasia | Echoes of War season, runs to November 5 |
| 10.22 | Umbral Monument: Murmurs of the Deep Forest | New high-difficulty stage series |
| 10.22 | Monumental Etching: Forest of Maras | Event paired with the new series |
| 11.05 | Season of Fervor | Echoes of War season, replaces Phantasia |
Echoes of War again rotates seasons on a phase boundary, and each season adds three new stages. Murmurs of the Deep Forest opens three days after the 1.5 event Shadow Marked closes. If you still have the old series to clear, the Marked by Dark Shadows guide covers it.
