The program did not put a date on screen for Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves, Lucky Carrot’s Games of Wonder, the Echoes of War seasons or the Contingency Contract season itself. Contingency Readiness opening “7 days before the new season” puts Indigo Experimental Operation at about November 5, but that is our inference, not a posted date.
Si: 6-Star Cryo Supporter Kit

Si’s operator reveal from the program. © Gryphline.
Si is the Feranmut Proxy who owns Yuanyuan Manor, the strictest warden over Ardashir, and the painter of the world the 1.6 story takes place in. The developers called her a Cryo Supporter with decent damage: her combo skill can carry a team, she boosts Cryo and Heat teammates, and her battle skill changes how you fight a single target. New to Sui Proxies? Start with our Feranmut explainer. Her official operator showcase, with every skill card’s English text and her profile facts, is broken down in our Si operator showcase post.
| Skill | Name | What it does (official card text, condensed) |
|---|---|---|
| Basic attack | Artistic Urge | Up to 5 sequences of Cryo DMG. The finisher deals massive Cryo DMG and restores some SP. |
| Battle skill | Brushwork Realm | Deals DMG, applies Artful Intent and Immobilization, and applies an infliction of the same element as the Team Position 1 operator (Heat in slot 1 gives Heat; any other element gives Cryo). Then changes to Initial Stroke. |
| Battle skill (2nd move) | Initial Stroke | Spends a small amount of SP and pulls an Inksoul from a target with Artful Intent. Then changes to Final Stroke. |
| Battle skill (3rd move) | Final Stroke | Costs no SP. Ends the Inksoul early: it returns to its host and triggers the same burst as Artful Intent expiring. |
| Combo skill | Fully Envisioned | Triggers when an enemy’s Cryo or Heat infliction is consumed or absorbed. Summons an Ink Lung for multiple hits; the final hit grows with the number of stacks consumed or absorbed. The skill itself consumes nothing. |
| Ultimate | No One Spoils the Fun | A Giant Ink Lung deals Cryo DMG and grants the whole team temporary Cryo Amp and Heat Amp. |
| Talent | Proxy’s Patronage | After her ultimate, the combo skill cooldown of the Team Position 1 operator is reduced. |

Artful Intent: stored damage that ignores defenses
A target with Artful Intent is ringed by butterflies with faint ink marks under its feet. While it lasts, Si records part of the damage the target takes. When it expires, Fixed DMG equal to the recorded amount hits a large area. The developers stressed that this burst ignores DEF, RES and damage reduction effects, so damage you pour into one elite becomes guaranteed damage on everything around it.
The Inksoul

The Inksoul and its host share damage and statuses. © Gryphline.
The Inksoul is the mechanic the developers said “completely shakes up the combat rules up to now.” Once Initial Stroke pulls one out:
- Damage and effects are shared. Anything that hits the Inksoul also hits its host, inflictions and special statuses included. An attack that hits both only counts once.
- It interrupts charges from range. When the host starts charging (the red ring), skills cast on the Inksoul can interrupt it.
- It answers mobile bosses. If the target runs or teleports away, pull an Inksoul and keep hitting it at close range.
- It outlives its host. If the host dies first, the Inksoul links to another enemy and applies Artful Intent to it. If the whole wave is dead, it stays on the field until it expires.

Si’s three demo teams
- Si as the main damage dealer (vs Sky Drummer): her battle skill builds 4 Cryo stacks, Arcane and Xaihi ultimates buff the team, and her combo bursts. With Si in Team Position 1, her own ultimate refreshes her combo for two Lung spits in a row.
- Si with Laevatain (vs Nefarith): interrupt the charge and absorb it with Final Stroke to refill Laevatain’s Melting Flame stacks, then Immobilize. When Nefarith teleports away, pull an Inksoul, fire Si’s ultimate for Heat Amp and Cryo Amp, and land Laevatain’s ultimate on the Inksoul. The damage transfers to Nefarith across the arena.
- Si with Yvonne (vs Hill Smasher “Big Bull”): apply Artful Intent, back off and pull the Inksoul, run the Si, Xaihi and Tangtang ultimates, trigger Solidification with Yvonne’s battle skill, follow with Si’s combo and Yvonne’s ultimate. The Inksoul jumps to the next enemy, and when it expires the stored damage clears the rest of the wave.
Takeaway: put a Heat operator in slot 1 and Si’s battle skill applies Heat instead of Cryo, which is how she slots into Laevatain teams. Put Si herself in slot 1 and her ultimate feeds her own combo.
Argent Flow: 6-Star Electric Guard Kit

Argent Flow’s operator reveal. © Gryphline.
Argent Flow belongs to the HAS and comes into Si’s painting to help treat the Endministrator, only to be coldly chased away by Si. He turns out to share a past with the Endministrator and an old promise that is still unfulfilled. He is skilled with spear and sword and rides his own warhorse, Nuli. In combat he is an Electric Guard who deals Physical and Electric DMG, applies Vulnerability, and applies a special Electrification that raises every damage type the target takes, Physical included.
| Skill | Name | What it does (official card text, condensed) |
|---|---|---|
| Basic attack | Dust Resplendent | Up to 5 sequences of Physical DMG. The finisher deals massive Physical DMG and restores some SP. |
| Battle skill | Darkness Cowed | A spear sweep: Physical DMG to nearby enemies and Lift on targets in front of him. |
| Battle skill (after combo) | Bolt Rush | Mounts Nuli and charges: consumes Electric infliction from enemies in a large area in front of him and applies high-level Electrification plus 1 stack of Vulnerability. Each stack consumed raises the Electrification level. |
| Combo skill | Stars Shifted | Triggers when an enemy becomes Vulnerable. A multi-sequence sword draw deals Electric DMG and applies Electric infliction, then switches his battle skill to Bolt Rush. |
| Talent | Zenith of Voltmancy | His Electrification also raises all DMG taken for its duration and applies Sunderization stacks equal to the Electrification level. Crush DMG on a Sunderized target is increased and detonates every stack for Electric DMG on the target and nearby enemies. |
| Ultimate | Heavens Sundered | Charges on Nuli for continuous Electric DMG, dragging weak enemies to the end point, then a Cleansing Cleave (Electric DMG, 1 Electric infliction) and a lance strike that applies Crush with Electric DMG in a large area. |

Zenith of Voltmancy is the core of his kit. © Gryphline.
The loop
Darkness Cowed (or any Vulnerability source) → Stars Shifted (Electric infliction, swaps to Bolt Rush) → Bolt Rush (consumes stacks into higher Electrification, Sunderization and +1 Vulnerability) → a Crush hit to detonate. His own ultimate supplies that Crush, so he can close the loop alone, but any Crush source works.

Bolt Rush adds a Vulnerability stack after consuming Electric infliction. © Gryphline.

Heavens Sundered drags weak enemies together and ends on a Crush hit. © Gryphline.
Physical teams and Arts teams
- Physical (vs Spotted Raker Beast): Vulnerability triggers Stars Shifted, Bolt Rush applies Electrification and 2 Sunderization stacks, and the Endministrator’s battle skill applies Crush to detonate them. His ultimate then drags an ambush to a single point.
- Arts (vs Craghowler, with Antal): Antal applies Focus, Argent Flow applies Vulnerability, the combo and teammates stack 3 Electric infliction, and Bolt Rush absorbs them for level 4 Electrification and 4 Sunderization. His ultimate stacks another level 4 Electrification, and its final Crush hit turns the Vulnerability and Sunderization into one burst.

Story and the Si’s Painting Map
The 1.6 main story picks up after the fight with Alleikhreos. The mark the Æther left on the Endministrator keeps clashing with the Originium inside them, and Si, who promised long ago to treat that injury, drags the Endministrator into her home: a painted world under her command. She puts the party up at her inn, Yuanyuan Manor, where the calligraphy on the walls is obviously her own work. The injury turns out to be tied to anomalies in the mountains. For the backstory of the Proxy and the ten years she waited, see our Si and Sui Proxy lore post.
The new map, Si’s Painting, starts beside the Very Large Rift. A bamboo raft carries you through a giant scroll into a landscape of red maples and mist, with Dijiang on the summit as the destination.
- Miracle Brush: Si’s brush rewrites the painting. A stroke across a gap raises a bridge, and strokes change plants, the time of day and the daily lives of the painting’s residents.
- The pavilion endgame: halfway up the mountain you sit with Si to solve an unfinished board-game position that comes alive around you.
- Waregeists and Ink Spirits: objects in the painting that came to life. They spray ink at intruders, and enough stacks of Ink Marks on you make them stronger.
- Reward: finishing the main mission and its final trial grants another Endministrator’s Token.

Si’s Painting, the 1.6 main story map. © Gryphline.
Argent Flow’s own story continues in the narrative event Back to the Rustics from November 5: a burdenbeast’s stray message reunites him with the Endministrator, and the search for it leads through older paintings Si left behind, where he looks like “a completely different person.”
New Events and Modes
Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves (inn and farm)
A countryside-inn management mode inside Yuanyuan Manor. Clear farmland, raise Originium Slugs, pick dishes and prep ingredients, then serve guests to earn Spirit Money. Serving guests in a row raises the inn’s star rating, which expands the inn and unlocks themes, recipes, more farmland and animal pens. Rewards include Oroberyls and Mark of Perseverance, and the mode stays permanently after the event ends.
Farming itself gets an overhaul: a top-down plot view, plots that can sit right next to each other, operators who apply fertilizer for you, and the Auto-Farmer, a machine that plants and harvests remotely. It comes to Wuling’s farming site later in the story too.

Arena of Games (from October 29)
The follow-up to Trial of Swordmancy keeps the draw-cards-then-fight format, with two big changes. You fight two rounds in a row before the score is tallied, drawing up to five Dataplates per round. Each Dataplate is an enemy group with a Battle Point (BP) value. Going over 10 BP no longer wipes your rewards: it raises the base difficulty while the score keeps climbing (40,000 at 10 BP up to 150,000 at the 20 BP cap).
Dataplates also carry a suit (Bamboo, Characters or Circles) and form poker-style hands: Pair, Two Pair, Triplet, Straight (4 sequential BP), Flush, Full House, Quad and Straight Flush. Hands multiply your reward but also buff the enemies; only your highest hand counts. A daily Hand of Today adds an extra multiplier. Rewards include Oroberyls and the Portrait “Get Lucky Now.”

Contingency Contract: Indigo Experimental Operation
The second Contingency Contract season follows Re-Ignition (see our Contingency Contract hub). Criteria import now accepts several criteria at once, and turning a Key Criterion off and back on restores the Locked Criteria you had picked.
Three new Key Criteria, two of them revealed:
- Ambient: Combo Lock: combo skill damage is greatly increased, but every 2 combo skills put a Combo Lock on the queue that blocks combos for a while. The demo team of Last Rite, Xaihi, Tangtang and Arcane one-shot a Blightshade Captain.
- Ambient: Silence: SP regeneration and SP recovery from skills are increased, but every operator must cast their battle skill once before anyone can cast it again. Exceptions shown: Camille’s Hunter Pursuit counts as a combo skill and bypasses the lock, and for multi-move battle skills only the first move is locked.
- The third is a mystery criterion added after the season starts.
Other criteria shown: Volatile Gains (any ultimate resets the whole team’s ultimate energy to zero), Blood Rush (enemies regenerate HP while they carry no Vulnerability or Arts infliction), Aggro Focus (enemies target your controlled operator), Fruity Slippers (untargetable Rock Howlers throw banana peels), enemy shields that stack when an ally dies, and, for the first time, criteria that give enemies new attack patterns, such as the Armed Mangler Beast’s spinning pillar sweep and toxic residue from the Cloud Obliterator.
Contingency Readiness opens October 29, 7 days before the season, to stock Sanity plus Gear Artificing Catalyst and Coolant Gel. Shop rewards include Oroberyls and Mark of Perseverance.

Beyond 1.6: Cretaceous Frontiers, Rhodes Island and Kay
The program closed with a Talos-II trailer and the clearest roadmap so far.
- The Cretaceous Frontiers, the first of the new regions: vast plains with towering goldtassels, home to the Hannabit Circuit tribe, with prehistoric ruins still unexplored. Our Sami and Collapsals lore post covers the north the trailer also showed.
- Rhodes Island joins the story as Endfield’s “most steadfast ally,” now based on a battleship crossing the Frontiers. The Rhodes Island PV ended on Warfarin; our Warfarin explainer covers who she is in Endfield.
- Kay, an operator from Rhodes Island who adventures in the wild, is the one new operator revealed early. The next story stop is a hallucinogenic World o’Shrooms with her.
- Array tech and the Forge of Luminance: a Xiragen-powered facility whose Array Zone mutates materials into new products used to rebuild the Exclusion Zone, a future mode. It gets its own Core AIC Area, and no new gear component types are planned.
- Umbral Monument: Nefarious Revealed, a later high-difficulty series with boss enemies.
- Shattered Protocol, a run-based mode with random strategic choices. The developers said it plays very differently from Integrated Strategies and is not ready yet.
