ARGENT FLOW OPERATOR SHOWCASE: EVERY SKILL IN HIS KIT

Table of Contents
Argent Flow is a 6-star Electric Guard from the Hongshan Academy of Sciences, voiced in English by Howard Wang. His official 65-second showcase, posted on November 1, 2026, shows a Physical and Electric kit that loops through Vulnerability and Electrification. His banner opens November 5, 2026.

This post goes through the showcase card by card: the profile facts first, then each skill with Gryphline’s English card text quoted word for word and what it means when you play him. For the full 1.6 schedule, see our Sanctuary of Ink recap.
How we checked this. Every quote below was read off the frames of the official Short on the Arknights: Endfield YouTube channel (uploaded 1 November 2026, 19:00 PT). The video carries Gryphline’s note that it “is from a work-in-progress build and may differ from the final game.”

Gryphline followed the showcase with a 55-second combat demo on November 3, 2026, showing the same kit in a real fight:

On November 4, 2026, Gryphline added his 3-minute Operator Story, The Returning Traveler: “The sword is forged. The time has come to repay my debt of gratitude. Come, old girl. It’s time to honor our promise.” It follows him between battles and quiet everyday moments as he sets out to keep a long-standing promise.

Later the same day, Gryphline released his 2-minute character EP, The Starry Flow Winds On: “The night is long, the stars shine bright. True to its course, the starry flow winds on.” It is listed with the other operator EPs on our Endfield OST page.

TL;DR
- Profile: 6-star Guard, Electric, Hongshan Academy of Sciences, race Lung, birthday October 23, English voice by Howard Wang.
- Two damage types. His basic attack and battle skill deal Physical DMG; his combo and ultimate deal Electric DMG.
- Vulnerability is the trigger. His combo fires when an enemy becomes Vulnerable, and his upgraded battle skill, Bolt Rush, applies a stack of Vulnerability itself.
- Bolt Rush is the payoff. It consumes Electric Infliction across a large area and applies high-level Electrification.
- The ultimate ends in Crush, after a charge that drags weak enemies along with him.
Argent Flow’s Profile Card

| Field | Value on the card |
|---|---|
| Rarity | 6-star |
| Class | Guard |
| Element | Electric |
| Faction | Hongshan Academy of Sciences |
| Race | Lung |
| Date of birth | Oct. 23 |
| English voice | Howard Wang |
Like Si, he is listed under the Hongshan Academy of Sciences, not Endfield Industries, which makes him the second Hongshan operator of Version 1.6. The Short’s YouTube caption is his own line: “Suited up and ready. There will be no holding back.”
His in-game files are less serious than the card: his horse Nuli beat him in their first fight, and a burdenbeast once used his phone to text the Endministrator. We collected those stories in Argent Flow’s lore.
Basic Attack: Dust Resplendent

“Argent Flow can perform up to 5 basic attack sequences, dealing Physical DMG to enemies. When performing a finisher on an enemy, Argent Flow deals massive Physical DMG and restores some SP.”
What it means: a standard five-hit chain with an SP refund on the finisher. The element is Physical, not Electric, so his basic attacks will not build Electric Infliction on their own.
Battle Skill: Darkness Cowed

“Deals Physical DMG to nearby enemies and applies Lift to target(s) in front of him. After Argent Flow casts his combo skill, his battle skill is temporarily changed to Bolt Rush, which consumes Electric Infliction stacks from the enemies within a large area in front of him and applies high-level Electrification and 1 stack of Vulnerability on them.”
What it means:
- The base skill is a Physical opener. It hits nearby enemies and Lifts the ones in front of him.
- Bolt Rush is the real skill. It only becomes available after his combo, and it turns Electric Infliction stacks into high-level Electrification over a wide area. The more stacks the team has built, the stronger the Electrification should be, though the card gives no numbers.
- It feeds his own combo. Bolt Rush applies a stack of Vulnerability, and Vulnerability is what triggers Stars Shifted. On paper that makes the combo and Bolt Rush a loop, limited by the combo’s cooldown and his SP.

“Triggered when an enemy becomes Vulnerable. Unleashes a multi-sequence attack that deals Electric DMG and applies Electric Infliction to the enemy, while also changing his battle skill to Bolt Rush.”
What it means: this one skill does three jobs. It deals Electric damage, it adds Electric Infliction for Bolt Rush to consume, and it unlocks Bolt Rush. Any teammate who applies Vulnerability (through Lift, Knock Down or similar Physical effects) can start the chain, and his own Darkness Cowed Lift can too.
Ultimate: Heavens Sundered

“Argent Flow charges, dealing continuous Electric DMG to targets in front of him and dragging weak enemies to the end point of the charge. After the charge ends, Argent Flow leaps into the air and unleashes a Cleansing Cleave at the ground. The slash deals Electric DMG and applies 1 stack of Electric Infliction to the target. Argent Flow then pierces the ground with his lance, applying Crush and dealing Electric DMG to enemies within a large area.”
What it means: a three-part ultimate. The charge groups weak enemies, the Cleansing Cleave adds one Electric Infliction stack, and the final lance strike applies Crush over a large area. At the 1.6 program, his talent was shown to apply Sunderization alongside Electrification and to let Crush detonate it, so the ultimate’s last hit is likely where that pays off. The showcase itself does not show the talent.
Idle Animation

The showcase ends on his idle pose: he adjusts his glove, rests a hand on his hip, and flicks back the blue tassel on his fur-trimmed coat.
What the Showcase Does Not Show
The showcase cards carry no numbers, talents or potentials. His full kit reached the game data on launch day, November 5, 2026, and fills those gaps:
| Skill | At Skill Rank 12 |
|---|---|
| Dust Resplendent | 5 sequences: 50%, 55%, 100%, 140% and 135% ATK; finisher 900% |
| Darkness Cowed | 350% ATK Physical DMG and Lift, 100 SP |
| Bolt Rush | 700% ATK Electric DMG; forced Electrification at Level I, +1 Status Level per Electric Infliction stack consumed; then 1 Vulnerability stack |
| Stars Shifted | 360% ATK Electric DMG, 18 second cooldown, Bolt Rush stays available for 20 seconds |
| Heavens Sundered | 175% charge, 500% Cleansing Cleave, 750% ground pierce with Crush; 80 Ultimate Energy |
- Talent: Zenith of Voltmancy. His Electrification also raises all DMG the target takes and applies Sunderization equal to its Status Level (max 12). Crush on a Sunderized target deals x1.2 and detonates the stacks for 330% ATK Electric DMG each, 40% of that to nearby enemies.
- Talent: Springvolt Galore. Bolt Rush gives the whole team Arts Intensity +45 for 20 seconds, and each point of his Arts Intensity raises the explosion by 0.6%.
- Potentials: P1 raises the Crush multiplier to x1.4, P2 adds Will +20 and Arts Intensity +16, P3 gives Electric DMG +6% per stack Bolt Rush consumes, P4 cuts the Ultimate cost by 15%, and P5 adds team Arts Intensity +15 and boosts the explosion’s Arts Intensity scaling.
The full values by skill level, his materials and a damage calculator are on his operator page, and his gear and weapon picks are in the Argent Flow build guide.
