Si’s best team is Si in Team Position 1 with Xaihi, Arcane and a Cryo carry. In Heat accounts, put Laevatain in slot 1 and Si behind her. Slot 1 decides both her infliction element and who gets her combo cooldown cut, so it is the first choice you make with her. She headlines Endfield 1.6 from October 15 to November 5, 2026.

This post covers the four teams worth building around her, who goes in slot 1, and what to avoid. Her full kit is broken down in our Si operator showcase post, and the three official demo teams come from the Sanctuary of Ink recap.

How we built this list. Si is not out yet. Every pick below comes from her official skill text (the operator showcase), the three teams the developers played at the 1.6 livestream, and the kits of operators already in the game. No multipliers, durations or SP costs are public, so nothing here is ranked on damage numbers. We checked it on October 7, 2026 and will update it after launch.

TL;DR - Key Points

  • Slot 1 is the whole decision. Her battle skill copies slot 1’s element, and her ultimate cuts slot 1’s combo cooldown.
  • Si in slot 1 is the Cryo setup: her own combo comes back fast enough for two Ink Lung attacks in a row.
  • A Heat carry in slot 1 turns Si into a Heat applicator and gives the carry the cooldown cut. Laevatain is the obvious pick.
  • Her combo eats your carry’s reactions. It fires when Cryo or Heat infliction is consumed or absorbed, which is exactly what Last Rite, Yvonne and Laevatain already do.
  • Artful Intent is boss and wave insurance. Stored damage comes back as Fixed DMG that ignores DEF, RES and damage reduction, and the Inksoul reaches bosses that teleport away.
  • Skip her for Physical, Electric and Nature teams. Her Amp only covers Cryo and Heat.

What Si Brings to a Team

Four things, in the order they matter for team building:

  1. Team-wide Cryo Amp and Heat Amp from her ultimate, No One Spoils the Fun. This is the support half of her kit, and it is why she belongs in Cryo or Heat teams and nowhere else.
  2. A combo fed by your teammates. Fully Envisioned triggers when an enemy’s Cryo or Heat infliction is consumed or absorbed, and the final hit grows with the number of stacks used. Teammates who consume four stacks at once make the Ink Lung a real damage source.
  3. Artful Intent. Her battle skill marks a target and records part of the damage it takes. When the mark expires, the total hits a large area as Fixed DMG. The developers said at the livestream that this burst ignores DEF, RES and damage reduction.
  4. The Inksoul. Recast her battle skill to pull a proxy out of the marked target. Damage and effects that hit the Inksoul also hit the host, so you keep damaging a boss that has moved away.

What she does not bring: healing, shields, or Physical, Electric or Nature support. Every team below still needs a sustain slot.

The Slot 1 Rule

Two parts of her kit read “the operator in the first position of the team”:

Slot 1Si’s battle skill appliesCombo cooldown cut goes toUse it for
Si herselfCryo inflictionSi (two Ink Lungs in a row)Cryo teams, Si as main damage
A Heat operatorHeat inflictionThe Heat operatorLaevatain and other Heat carries
Any other elementCryo inflictionThat operatorCryo teams with a Cryo carry in slot 1

The third row is a real option. With Yvonne or Last Rite in slot 1, Si still applies Cryo and the carry gets the cooldown cut instead of Si. The livestream showed the first two rows, so treat the third as the setup to compare at launch.

One wording note. The livestream put the slot 1 cooldown cut on her talent, Proxy’s Patronage, which triggers after her ultimate. The showcase card folds it into the ultimate. Either way, you cast the ultimate and slot 1’s combo comes back sooner.

Team One: Si-First Cryo (the Sky Drummer Demo)

Si (slot 1), Xaihi, Arcane, flex Cryo carry (Last Rite or Yvonne)

This is the first team the developers played at the livestream. Si’s battle skill builds four Cryo stacks, the Arcane and Xaihi ultimates buff the team, and Si’s combo bursts. Because Si sits in slot 1, her own ultimate shortens her combo cooldown and the Ink Lung attacks twice back to back.

  • Xaihi heals and applies Cryo, so she covers the sustain slot without leaving the element.
  • Arcane brings Arts Susceptibility, which raises all of Si’s Cryo damage. The demo used her ultimate as a team buff window.
  • The fourth slot is the one the demo left open in the recap. Last Rite is the natural fill: she consumes Cryo stacks for her combo, and consuming them triggers Si’s.

Build this if Si is your new carry or your Cryo bench is thin.

Team Two: Laevatain Heat (the Nefarith Demo)

Laevatain (slot 1), Si, Wulfgard or Akekuri, Ardelia

With Laevatain in slot 1, Si applies Heat instead of Cryo, and her ultimate cuts Laevatain’s combo cooldown and gives the whole team Heat Amp. Laevatain absorbs Heat infliction for her Melting Flame stacks, and absorbing it triggers Si’s combo. The two kits feed each other.

The livestream showed the other trick against Nefarith: interrupt the charge, absorb it with Si’s Final Stroke to refill Laevatain’s Melting Flame, then Immobilize. When the boss teleports, pull the Inksoul, fire Si’s ultimate, and land Laevatain’s ultimate on the Inksoul. The damage carries to the boss across the arena.

  • Wulfgard is the heavy Heat applicator if you need more stacks than Si alone gives.
  • Akekuri is the budget SP battery and Link buff.
  • Ardelia covers healing. Antal is a Heat-team option if you already have sustain elsewhere, since he brings Susceptibility and Amp of his own.

The demo named only Laevatain and Si. The two remaining slots are our fill from the current Heat roster.

Team Three: Yvonne Solidification (the Hill Smasher Demo)

Yvonne, Si, Xaihi, Tangtang

All four of these come from the official demo. Apply Artful Intent, step back and pull the Inksoul, run the Si, Xaihi and Tangtang ultimates, trigger Solidification with Yvonne’s battle skill, then follow with Si’s combo and Yvonne’s ultimate. The Inksoul jumps to the next enemy, and when the mark expires the stored damage clears the rest of the wave.

Yvonne consumes Cryo stacks for Solidification, which triggers Si’s combo, and Tangtang keeps Cryo infliction flowing across a group. This is the strongest team on paper if you own all three limited Cryo operators, and the one with the best wave clear thanks to Tangtang’s field and the Artful Intent burst.

Slot 1 choice: put Si in slot 1 for double Ink Lungs, or Yvonne for faster Yvonne combos. Compare the two once numbers are out.

Team Four: Budget Cryo

Si (slot 1), Last Rite or Tangtang, Alesh or Estella, Xaihi or Ardelia

If Si is your big pull and the rest of your Cryo bench is 4 and 5 stars:

  • Alesh is an SP battery that converts Cryo infliction into Solidification.
  • Estella spams skills cheaply and keeps the rotation moving.
  • Snowshine is the Cryo Defender if you need a tank over a healer.
  • Xaihi is the best sustain pick because she stays on element. Ardelia works if you do not have her.

You lose the Arcane Susceptibility from Team One, but every member still feeds or benefits from Si’s Cryo loop.

Quick-Reference: Si Pairing Tiers

Method. “Best” here means how directly a teammate feeds Si’s combo trigger (consumed or absorbed Cryo or Heat infliction) or benefits from her Cryo and Heat Amp. Based on Si’s official showcase text, the three 1.6 livestream demo teams, and the current kits in our operator database. Checked October 7, 2026, before launch. No damage numbers are public, so these tiers will move after October 15.

Teams by Content Type

  • Single bosses that move or teleport: Team Two. The Inksoul lets Laevatain keep landing her ultimate.
  • Waves of mobs: Team Three. Tangtang’s field plus the Artful Intent Fixed DMG burst clears groups.
  • Tanky elites with high DEF or RES: any team. The Artful Intent burst ignores DEF, RES and damage reduction, so it is the part of her kit that does not care how tough the target is.
  • Early accounts: Team Four, or Team One with Ardelia in place of Arcane.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving slot 1 to chance. If your slot 1 is a Physical or Electric operator, Si still applies Cryo, but your carry gets nothing from the cooldown cut.
  • Putting a Heat carry in slot 1 in a Cryo team. Si switches to Heat infliction and stops feeding your Cryo carry.
  • Running her in a team with no consumer. Her combo only fires when stacks are consumed or absorbed. Without Laevatain, Yvonne, Last Rite or another reaction source, the Ink Lung stays home.
  • Skipping the healer. Si brings no sustain.
  • Hitting the wrong target with Artful Intent. Mark the target that will take the most damage, usually the boss or the elite, so the stored total is worth it.

What Would Change These Picks

  • Launch numbers. If her Amp is small and the Ink Lung is large, Team One rises. If the reverse, the Heat and Yvonne teams rise.
  • Amp stacking. Whether Si’s Cryo Amp and Xaihi’s Cryo Amp add together decides how good the Si and Xaihi pairing really is.
  • Her signature weapon. The 1.6 program showed Jade Vessel with Intellect, Cryo DMG and an Efficacy passive. It was not named as hers, but the stats point that way.
  • Argent Flow. He arrives in the second half of 1.6 as an Electric Guard, outside Si’s elements, so he is unlikely to change these teams.

Final Verdict

Si is the first support who raises both Cryo and Heat teams, and her combo fires off reactions those teams already make. Build Team One if she is your main damage, Team Two if you run Laevatain, and Team Three if you own Yvonne and Tangtang. Whatever you build, decide slot 1 first.

Plan your pulls with the pity calculator, and compare her against the rest of the roster on the team tier list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best team for Si in Arknights Endfield? Si in Team Position 1 with Xaihi, Arcane and one more Cryo applicator or carry such as Last Rite or Yvonne. This is the team the developers used in the 1.6 livestream: Si’s battle skill builds Cryo stacks, Arcane and Xaihi buff the team, and her ultimate cuts her own combo cooldown so the Ink Lung attacks twice in a row.

Who should be in slot 1 with Si? Either Si herself or a Heat carry. Si’s battle skill applies the element of the operator in Team Position 1, and her ultimate shortens slot 1’s combo cooldown. Si in slot 1 gives her back-to-back Ink Lung combos. A Heat operator such as Laevatain in slot 1 makes Si apply Heat infliction and speeds up the carry’s combo instead. Any other element in slot 1 just leaves her on Cryo.

Does Si work in Heat teams? Yes, and that is unusual for a Cryo operator. Put a Heat operator in slot 1 and her battle skill applies Heat infliction, her combo triggers off consumed or absorbed Heat infliction, and her ultimate grants Heat Amp to the whole team. The official livestream ran her with Laevatain.

Is Si good with Laevatain? On paper she is one of the better Heat partners announced so far. Laevatain absorbs Heat infliction for Melting Flame, absorbing it triggers Si’s combo, and Si’s ultimate gives Heat Amp. The Inksoul also lets Laevatain land her ultimate on a boss that teleports away, which the livestream showed against Nefarith.

Is Si good with Yvonne? Yes. Yvonne consumes Cryo infliction for Solidification, consuming it triggers Si’s combo, and Si’s ultimate gives Cryo Amp. The developers demoed Si, Yvonne, Xaihi and Tangtang against a Hill Smasher, with the stored Artful Intent damage clearing the rest of the wave.

Is Si a DPS or a support? A Supporter with real damage. Her official class is Supporter and her ultimate is a team-wide Cryo and Heat Amp, but the developers called her a Supporter with decent damage, and the first livestream demo ran her as the main damage dealer.

What is a cheap Si team? Si in slot 1, Last Rite or Tangtang if you own one, Alesh or Estella for Cryo stacks and SP, and Xaihi or Ardelia for healing. If you are building a Heat version on a budget, Wulfgard and Akekuri are the low-cost Heat applicators and SP batteries.

Do Si and Xaihi stack? They appear together in two of the three official demo teams, so the developers clearly intend them to share a team. Both grant Cryo Amp. Whether two Cryo Amps add together or the higher one wins is not confirmed before launch, so treat Xaihi as the healer and Cryo applicator first and the Amp as a bonus until the in-game numbers are out.

Should I pull for Si? Pull if you run Cryo or Heat teams, because she raises both and adds a slot-1 combo cooldown cut. Skip if your main teams are Physical, Electric or Nature, where none of her Amp applies. Her banner runs from October 15 to November 5, 2026.
