Gryphline has published the official weapon card for Bedazzling Night Debut, the 6-star Polearm headlining the Bedazzled Issue banner that opens August 9, 2026 alongside Liino. Until now the weapon existed only as a name in the patch notes and a table row in build guides. The card gives us the whole thing: the series it belongs to, both affix lines, and the full text of its trait, Medicant: Shimmering Curtain. That trait turns out to be more specific than the shorthand suggested, and the specificity matters a lot when you decide who should hold it. This post breaks down what the weapon actually does, which operators can equip it, and, because of how the trait is worded, which operators benefit most from someone else holding it.

One caveat stated once, up front: the official card uses “increased ATK”, “a certain period”, and “up to a limit” rather than numbers. Gryphline does not publish percentages on these cards, and the card itself carries the standard demonstration-purposes disclaimer. So every value in this post is a mechanic, not a magnitude. The real numbers arrive when the banner opens on August 9.

TL;DR - Key Points

  • Bedazzling Night Debut is a 6-star Polearm from the Anthology of Swordmancy series, with Will Boost [L] main and Treatment Efficiency Boost [L] sub.
  • Its trait, Medicant: Shimmering Curtain, buffs the operator receiving the heal, not the wielder and not the team as a block.
  • The trigger is any skill that grants HP Treatment, which is a looser condition than Golden Age’s combo-skill-only clause.
  • Three gates limit it: a stack cap, per-stack durations counted separately, and a per-operator cooldown on receiving the effect.
  • Only five operators can equip it, and only Liino heals, so she is the only one who fires the ATK clause at all.
  • The ATK buff is element-agnostic, which means it pays out on Physical carries the way Golden Age’s Arts DMG clause cannot.
  • Golden Age is the free near-equivalent. If you are not pulling Liino, skip Bedazzled Issue entirely.

Bedazzling Night Debut: Stats and Trait

Main stat Will Boost [L]
Sub stat Treatment Efficiency Boost [L]

Source Acquisition Center, Arsenal Exchange, via Bedazzled Issue

The Will and Treatment Efficiency pairing is the standard support-healer shell in Endfield, shared with Golden Age on the Polearm side and Freedom to Proselytize on the Arts Unit side. Will drives healing output for Will-scaling operators, and Treatment Efficiency multiplies whatever healing they produce. Neither affix does anything useful for a damage carry.

The archive text is worth a mention because it is unusually on the nose. Anthology of Swordmancy is described as a top-of-the-line Mieszko Industries product series, tailor-made to order for popular thespians of the performing arts, with a “dreamy and conspicuously loud microphone-like design”. That is a weapon written for a specific operator, and Endfield’s weapon archives are usually a reliable tell for design intent. Golden Age’s archive did the same thing, as our Jakub Meissen and the Golden Age archive breakdown covers at length.

What Medicant: Shimmering Curtain Actually Does

The full trait text reads:

Main attribute is increased. When the wielder’s skill grants HP Treatment to other operators in the team, the operator receiving the wielder’s treatment also gains increased ATK for a certain period. Effects of the same name can stack up to a limit. Duration of each stack is counted separately, and each operator can only gain this effect once every set interval.

Four separate mechanics are packed in there, and each one changes how you use the weapon.

The buff lands on the recipient, not the wielder. This is the clause people are most likely to misread. “The operator receiving the wielder’s treatment also gains increased ATK” means your teammates get the ATK, and the healer holding the Polearm gets nothing but the main attribute line. Bedazzling Night Debut is not a weapon that makes its user stronger in combat. It is a weapon that converts a healer’s throughput into damage on everyone else.

The trigger is any skill, not just a combo skill. The text says “the wielder’s skill grants HP Treatment”, with no qualifier. Compare that to Golden Age’s Pursuit: Great Hero, which specifically requires the combo skill to grant HP Treatment. For an operator like Liino, who heals from Vocalist Stance, from the Cosmovoice Stance activation, and from her Delightful Harmonics combo skill, that difference is substantial: the signature fires on all three heal sources while the free alternative fires on one.

It is a stacking buff with per-stack timers. “Effects of the same name can stack up to a limit. Duration of each stack is counted separately.” Each application starts its own clock rather than refreshing a single timer, so the buff on a given operator ramps up as you keep healing them and then decays in steps rather than falling off a cliff. The practical read is that sustained healing beats burst healing here.

Each operator has an individual cooldown on receiving it. “Each operator can only gain this effect once every set interval.” This is the gate that stops you from stacking the buff on one carry as fast as your heals land. In a team-wide heal like Liino’s Cosmovoice activation, every eligible operator picks up a stack at once, then all of them sit on cooldown together. So the weapon naturally spreads its output across the whole team rather than concentrating it, and its total value depends on how many operators in your comp actually want ATK.

Put those four together and you get a coherent design: a weapon for a healer who heals often, heals broadly, and sits in a team of ATK-scaling damage dealers.

Who Can Actually Equip It

Weapon type gates everything in Endfield, and Bedazzling Night Debut is a Polearm. Per the operator database, exactly four operators on the live roster use a Polearm, and Liino makes five when she releases.

Liino: the only real answer

Liino is the only Polearm user in the game who heals, which makes her the only operator who can trigger the trait’s headline clause. Her kit is built around it too. Her Battle Skill’s Vocalist Stance heals nearby operators continuously. Her Ultimate, Cosmovoice Stance, opens with a team-wide heal and keeps healing while active. Her combo skill, Delightful Harmonics, heals the controlled operator whenever an Arts Infliction or Reaction is applied or consumed. That is three independent heal sources, all of them skill-sourced, all of them feeding the ATK clause.

She also scales on Will, which means the main affix is not wasted the way it is on the other four. This is best in slot for her and the weapon exists because of her. Our full Liino build guide covers her stance priority and gear sets in detail.

Lifeng: wrong stat, dead clause

Lifeng is a 6-star Physical Guard with Knock Down, Physical Susceptibility, and Link. No healing anywhere in his kit, so the ATK clause never fires, and he scales on Agility rather than Will, so the main affix is dead budget too. He gets nothing from this weapon that a stat stick would not give him. Mountain Bearer is his signature and remains his best option.

Camille: strong operator, wrong weapon

Camille is a 6-star Heat Vanguard built around Heat Infliction, Susceptibility, Weaken, Link, and SP Recovery. He is a support in function, which makes him look like a candidate at a glance, but supporting is not healing. He grants no HP Treatment, so the trait’s second sentence never activates, and like Lifeng he scales on Agility. Blessing of Lustrous Carmine is his signature and Beacon of Duty is the free Protocol Pass alternative.

Avywenna: right stat, still dead clause

Avywenna is the closest thing to a near-miss. She is a 5-star Electric Striker who scales on Will, so the Will Boost main affix is genuinely useful to her, and she is Electric, which puts her in Liino’s natural team. But she does not heal, so half the weapon is inert on her, and Treatment Efficiency does nothing for an operator who produces zero healing. This is the same trap our Junction Point and Golden Age breakdown already flags on the free Polearm. JET and Cohesive Traction both serve her better.

Estella: no

A 4-star Cryo Guard with Cryo Infliction, Lift, and Physical Susceptibility. No heals, no Will scaling, no reason. JET or her signature OBJ Razorhorn.

Fit summary

Operator Rarity Element Scaling Heals? Clauses hit Verdict
Liino 6-star Electric Will Yes, three sources Both Best in slot, purpose-built
Avywenna 5-star Electric Will No Main affix only Skip, JET is better
Lifeng 6-star Physical Agility No None Skip, use Mountain Bearer
Camille 6-star Heat Agility No None Skip, use Blessing of Lustrous Carmine
Estella 4-star Cryo Agility No None Skip

The Other Half: Who Benefits From the ATK Buff

Because the buff lands on the operator receiving the heal, the question “who should use this weapon” has a second, more interesting half. The wielder is settled: it is Liino. What actually determines the weapon’s value is who is standing next to her collecting the ATK.

An ATK increase scales off the recipient’s total ATK, so it is worth the most on operators who already have a high ATK pool. Here is the top of the roster at level 90:

Operator ATK at 90 Class Element Why they want it
Zhuang Fangyi 706 Striker Electric Highest ATK in the game, and he also collects Liino’s Electric SP refund
Tangtang 687 Caster Cryo Second-highest ATK, strong single-target Cryo payoff
Yvonne 685 Striker Cryo Crit-scaling carry, and ATK multiplies crit damage output
Ember 684 Defender Heat Unusual case, a high-ATK unit who is also a heal target by default
Rossi 683 Guard Physical Physical carry, the buff still applies in full
Laevatain 676 Striker Heat Combust damage dealer with high base output
Last Rite 661 Striker Cryo Highest base ATK on the roster at 332

Two things fall out of this table.

The buff is element-agnostic, which is the weapon’s quiet advantage over Golden Age. Golden Age’s team clause grants Arts DMG Dealt, which does nothing for Rossi, Lifeng, Mi Fu, or Endministrator. Bedazzling Night Debut grants ATK, and ATK feeds Physical and Arts damage equally. If your Liino team includes a Physical carry, the signature is not just tighter than the free option, it is doing something the free option cannot do at all.

Zhuang Fangyi is the standout beneficiary. He has the highest ATK on the roster, he is Electric so he collects Liino’s SP refund talent, and he is already one of her two confirmed synergy targets. If you are building a Liino team around this weapon, he is the operator the buff is worth the most on. Our Liino, Zhuang Fangyi, Arcane, and Perlica team breakdown walks through that composition.

The corollary is a real deckbuilding constraint: if your Liino team is three supports and a single carry, most of the weapon’s stacks are landing on operators who do not convert ATK into anything. The per-operator interval gate means you cannot funnel those wasted stacks back onto the carry either. This weapon rewards teams with two or more damage dealers.

Bedazzling Night Debut vs Golden Age vs Cohesive Traction

Three Polearms compete for Liino’s slot. They are closer together than the rarity gaps suggest.

Weapon Rarity Main Sub Trait payoff Trigger Cost
Bedazzling Night Debut 6-star Will Treatment Efficiency ATK on the heal recipient Any skill that grants HP Treatment Arsenal Tickets, Bedazzled Issue
Golden Age 6-star Will Treatment Efficiency Team-wide Arts DMG Dealt, plus Electric DMG line Combo skill that grants HP Treatment Free, Protocol Pass: Blighted Sea
Cohesive Traction 5-star Will Electric DMG Dealt Combo Skill DMG and stacking Electric DMG Combo skill cast Standard pool

Bedazzling Night Debut wins on trigger breadth. Liino heals from three places and the signature fires on all three. Golden Age fires only off Delightful Harmonics.

Golden Age wins on price and on Electric-mono teams. It is free, it shares the exact stat shell, and its flat Electric DMG line plus team-wide Arts DMG clause is arguably better if your Liino team is all Electric Arts damage. It is also the only sensible pick if you are not spending on Bedazzled Issue, and since it has no other home on the roster, redeeming it costs you nothing.

Cohesive Traction is the standard-pool floor. It abandons the healing angle entirely and leans on Liino’s combo skill cadence instead. Take it if you have it and want her damage contribution rather than her healing conversion.

The honest ordering: signature, then Golden Age, then Cohesive Traction, with the gap between the first two smaller than the six-star tag implies.

How It Compares to the Other Medicant Weapons

Medicant is a recurring trait family across weapon types, and every entry converts healing into a different team benefit. Which one you chase is a question about which healer you actually run, not which weapon is strongest in isolation.

Weapon Rarity Type Affix shell Signature holder
Bedazzling Night Debut 6-star Polearm Will / Treatment Liino
Chivalric Virtues 6-star Arts Unit Will / HP Boost None, currently Xaihi’s best
Thunderberge 6-star Greatsword Strength / HP Boost Ember
Freedom to Proselytize 5-star Arts Unit Will / Treatment Xaihi
Finishing Call 5-star Greatsword Strength / HP Boost Snowshine

Bedazzling Night Debut is the only Polearm in the family. The two Greatsword entries are tuned for tanks who heal incidentally (Ember and Snowshine both carry HP Treatment tags alongside shielding), which is why they run HP Boost rather than Treatment Efficiency. The Arts Unit entries are the closest functional cousins, and Chivalric Virtues in particular already does the team ATK conversion that Bedazzling Night Debut does, just on Xaihi rather than on a Polearm user.

That matters for a practical reason: if you already run Xaihi on Chivalric Virtues, adding Liino on Bedazzling Night Debut gives you two overlapping ATK conversions. They are differently named effects so both should apply, but the marginal value of the second one drops sharply once your carries are already buffed. Check the gear sets database before assuming two support pieces stack cleanly.

Essence Farming for a Treatment Polearm

The weapon’s essence profile is already in the game’s drop tables. Bedazzling Night Debut’s essences roll from Power Plateau, Wuling City, Stockade, Sword Dale, and Exclusion Zone.

Power Plateau is the location to farm. It carries both halves of what this weapon wants: the Treatment attribute config and the Medicant skill config. Both sit at a 12.5% drop chance, which places them at ranks 36 and 48 in the overall farming efficiency ordering. That is mid-table, not a nightmare, but not a quick clear either.

The Treatment pool at Power Plateau also carries Dreams of the Starry Beach, Freedom to Proselytize, and Golden Age, and the Medicant pool carries Chivalric Virtues, Finishing Call, Freedom to Proselytize, and Thunderberge. So if you run any healer at all, Power Plateau farming is not single-weapon work. Plan your runs in the artificing planner and check drop odds against the rest of your queue in the essence farming tool.

Should You Pull Bedazzled Issue? By Player Type

  • If you are not pulling Liino: skip it completely. There is no second user. Redeem Golden Age from the Protocol Pass and keep your Arsenal Tickets.
  • If you are pulling Liino but running her as a secondary support: skip it. Golden Age shares the stat shell and covers the role for free. Spend the tickets on a carry weapon instead.
  • If you are pulling Liino as your dedicated Polearm healer: this is the one weapon banner in 1.4 where the signature is meaningfully better than the free alternative, because of the trigger breadth. Worth it if your team has two or more ATK carries.
  • If you are pulling Liino and Arcane both: weapon banners come second. Secure both operators first, then decide. Run the numbers in the pity calculator before committing, and check the full 1.4 schedule in our Homecoming program recap.

Common Mistakes

  • Equipping it on Avywenna because she scales on Will. The Will line is real, but Treatment Efficiency and the entire ATK clause are dead on an operator who does not heal. She loses more than she gains versus JET.
  • Treating the ATK buff as a team-wide aura. It is per-recipient, gated by a per-operator interval. In a heal-heavy rotation the stacks spread across everyone you heal rather than concentrating on your carry, which is a feature in a two-carry team and a waste in a one-carry team.
  • Skipping Golden Age because you plan to pull the signature. Golden Age is free and Liino is a limited operator. Redeem it regardless. If the pulls do not land, it is your entire fallback.
  • Building Liino for damage on top of this weapon. Will Boost and Treatment Efficiency Boost are both healing affixes. If you are chasing ATK or Crit on her stat lines, you have picked the wrong weapon for the build you are running.

What Would Change This

The only thing that widens this weapon’s user list is a future Polearm operator who heals. That is a narrow slot, and the game has gone four versions without filling it, so do not build a roster plan around it arriving soon. When each new operator is revealed, the three questions that matter for this weapon are: do they use a Polearm, do they scale on Will, and does any part of their kit grant HP Treatment to other operators. All three have to be yes.

The other unknown is simply the numbers. Stack cap, ATK percentage per stack, stack duration, and the per-operator interval are all unpublished. A short interval with a high cap makes this a premier team buff. A long interval with a cap of two makes it a modest one. We will update this post when the banner goes live on August 9.

Final Read

Bedazzling Night Debut is a signature weapon in the strictest sense: one operator can use it, and the weapon’s design does not pretend otherwise. Its real distinction from the free alternative is not raw power but trigger breadth, since it fires on any skill-sourced heal while Golden Age waits on a combo skill. Its second distinction is that it hands out ATK rather than Arts DMG, which quietly makes it the better pick in any Liino team that includes a Physical carry.

If you are committing to Liino as a healer and your team has multiple damage dealers, pull it. If you are not, Golden Age is free, sits in the same stat shell, and covers 80% of the job. Either way, redeem Golden Age.

FAQ

What is Bedazzling Night Debut in Arknights Endfield? Bedazzling Night Debut is a 6-star Polearm from the Anthology of Swordmancy series and Liino’s signature weapon. It carries Will Boost [L] as its main affix, Treatment Efficiency Boost [L] as its sub affix, and the Medicant: Shimmering Curtain trait, which grants bonus ATK to any operator the wielder heals with a skill.

How do you get Bedazzling Night Debut? It is acquired in the Acquisition Center under Arsenal Exchange, via the Bedazzled Issue weapon banner. Bedazzled Issue opens alongside Liino’s Good Morning From Your Dawnstar banner on August 9, 2026 and runs until three Chartered Headhunting banners have passed.

What does Medicant: Shimmering Curtain do? It increases the wielder’s main attribute, and when the wielder’s skill grants HP Treatment to another operator on the team, that operator gains increased ATK for a period. The buff stacks up to a limit with each stack timed separately, and each operator can only receive it once per set interval. Exact percentages and durations are not published on the official weapon card.

Which operators can use Bedazzling Night Debut? Only Polearm users. On the current roster that means Lifeng, Camille, Avywenna, and Estella, plus Liino when she releases. Of those five, only Liino heals, so she is the only one who triggers the weapon’s ATK clause at all.

Is Bedazzling Night Debut good on Lifeng or Camille? No. Neither heals, so the ATK clause never fires, and both scale on Agility rather than Will, which wastes the main affix too. Lifeng wants Mountain Bearer and Camille wants Blessing of Lustrous Carmine or Beacon of Duty.

Is Golden Age a good substitute for Bedazzling Night Debut? Yes, for most players. Golden Age is a free Protocol Pass Polearm with the same Will main and Treatment Efficiency sub. It buffs team Arts DMG Dealt instead of recipient ATK and only triggers off a combo skill heal rather than any skill heal, so it is narrower, but it costs nothing and covers the same role.

Does the ATK buff apply to the wielder? No. The trait text specifies operators receiving the wielder’s treatment, which means the buff lands on your teammates rather than on the healer holding the weapon. The wielder only gets the main attribute increase.

Which operators benefit most from the ATK buff? High-ATK carries, since an ATK increase scales off the recipient’s total ATK. Zhuang Fangyi (706), Tangtang (687), Yvonne (685), Ember (684), and Rossi (683) sit at the top of the level 90 roster. Zhuang Fangyi is the standout because he also collects Liino’s Electric SP refund.

Should I pull Bedazzled Issue? Only if you are pulling Liino and intend to build her as your Polearm healer. The weapon has no other home on the current roster. If you are not committing to Liino, redeem Golden Age from the Protocol Pass and spend your Arsenal Tickets elsewhere.
