The Companionship Celebration & Homecoming Special Program aired today, July 10, 2026, and Hypergryph packed the broadcast with the full Version 1.4 roadmap. Arcane (Li Zhiyan) finally gets her limited banner starting July 16, 2026 alongside the debut of Liino, a new idol operator. Two new 6-star weapons drop with the patch: Solemn Phalanx, an Arts Unit built for Intellect-scaling carries, and Bedazzling Night Debut, a Polearm built around Will and Treatment Efficiency for Medicant supports. Every player also gets a free 6-star sword Farsight, a redemption code for ENDFIELDRENEW, and 2000 Oroberyls via mail.
This is the full roundup: every banner, every weapon, every new area, the AIC gas overhaul, the massive QoL list, and all the rewards you can claim in 1.4.

TL;DR - Key Points
- Arcane (Li Zhiyan) limited banner launches July 16, 2026 as Version 1.4 Phase 1. Arcane is a 6-star Nature Caster and the first operator with two combat styles via Array Arcana stance switching. When Intellect >= Will, she enters INT state (DPS focus with Corrosion). Otherwise, she enters WILL state (support focus with enemy pull and Arts Infliction spread).
- Liino idol operator debuts alongside Arcane. Electric Supporter with Vocalist Stance (team ATK up, healing, periodic attacks) and Cosmovoice Stance (forced Electrification, team-wide buffs, Electric/Nature Amp, SP refund for Electric operators via Combo Skill).
- New areas: Yinglung Pass and North Wuling Exclusion Zone. New enemy type Blightshade, new boss Alleikhreos, Chiliarch. Wuling Early Unlock lets players access the region right after Maintenance Progress.
- AIC gas overhaul: Two new gas resources (Inergen and Xiragen), new formulas simplifying production lines, Pyrrolite Gas crafting, Pipe Control flow rate adjustment, and new Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station outpost.

- Bedazzling Night Debut (Polearm) – Will Boost main stat, Treatment Efficiency Boost substat, Medicant attribute.
- Free 6-star Sword: Farsight – gifted to all players. Redemption code ENDFIELDRENEW for Camera Sticker and 71600 T-Creds.
- 2000 Oroberyls via in-game mail, plus 14 daily scratch-offs in Wuling Fortune Connect-and-Win guaranteeing 5000 oroberyls total.
- Echoes of War – permanent seasonal mode with time-limited stages, multiple difficulties, and showcase titles.

- Future characters teased: Si (13th Sui Proxy), a Hongshan Imperial Guard, and a Sarkaz dream traveler girl.
The Companionship Celebration & Homecoming Special Program
Tonight’s broadcast was the second preview-style program for Version 1.4, following the Sketches of Lost Heirlooms livestream in May. Where the May stream focused on 1.3’s Contingency Contract launch and teases for what came next, tonight’s program went deep on the 1.4 content slate itself – banners, weapons, events, permanent mode additions, and the Talosite economy.
The program kicked off with a Raise Potential segment showcasing the upcoming banners, then moved through the new weapons, the Homecoming event framework, factory updates, and a closing segment on the Rooted Realm.

New Characters
Arcane (Li Zhiyan) – 6-star Limited Operator
Arcane, also known as Li Zhiyan, is the headline banner for Version 1.4 Phase 1. She was first introduced as a story NPC in the Wuling Chapter II arc, where she served as an Ætherside specialist under Viceroy Zhuang Fangyi. Her silhouette was teased in the earlier Sketches of Lost Heirlooms livestream and confirmed in the IGN Live 2026 trailer. The special program confirmed her full kit: she is a Nature-element Caster and the first Endfield operator with two distinct combat styles determined by her stat allocation.
Arcane is a Yinglung Special Task Force member cooperating with Endfield Industries. Her unique mechanic is Array Arcana – a stance system that switches based on whether her Intellect stat is greater than or equal to her Will stat.
Array Arcana: INT state (Intellect >= Will) – DPS-focused stance:
- Frequently casts her Battle Skill and Combo Skill
- Applies Susceptibility and Corrosion to enemies
- Gains access to the second phase of her Ultimate
Array Arcana: WILL state (Will > Intellect) – Support-focused stance:
- Battle Skill pulls enemies together (grouping utility)
- Combo Skill and Ultimate apply and spread any Arts Infliction to nearby targets
In short, Arcane is a versatile Nature operator who can flex into either a damage dealer or a support depending on how you build her stats. INT-state Arcane focuses on raw Nature damage with Corrosion application, while WILL-state Arcane provides battlefield control and Arts Infliction spread for reaction setups. Be sure to test both forms when her banner drops.

For everything we know about Arcane from the story up to this point, see our Li Zhiyan (Arcane) profile. For weapons, gear sets, stat priority, and teams built around her confirmed kit, read our full Arcane build guide.
Liino – New Idol Operator
The idol operator teased in the IGN trailer silhouette finally has a name: Liino. Endfield’s first idol-archetype unit, she is an Electric Supporter built around two stances activated by her low-SP cost Battle Skill and her Ultimate. Her design features the mecha legs that sparked significant community reaction from the earlier trailer.

Liino’s low-SP cost Battle Skill puts her into Vocalist Stance. While in this stance, she cannot perform Basic Attacks, but gains the following effects:
- Continuously increases team ATK
- Heals nearby operators
- Periodically attacks enemies
Her Combo Skill triggers whenever an enemy is affected by an Arts Infliction or Reaction, or when one is consumed – making it very convenient to use in combat. It heals the controlled operator, deals Electric damage, and restores Ultimate Energy, all on a short cooldown. Through her talent, after using her Combo Skill, Liino grants a buff that gives other Electric operators a small SP refund after they use their Battle Skills.

Her Ultimate – Dawnstar Concerto heals the entire team and puts her into Cosmovoice Stance. In this stance, she:
- Deals damage in a large area
- Forcibly applies Electrification to enemies
- Further increases team ATK
- Provides stronger healing
- Grants Electric and Natural Amp to allies

Kit summary: Liino is a stance-switching Electric Supporter who brings team ATK buffs, sustained healing, forced Electrification, SP refund for Electric teammates, and Electric/Nature Amp. Her low SP cost lets her cycle stances smoothly, and her buffs last long enough that she works great in the background while you control other operators. She fits cleanly into any Electric composition and pairs especially well with operators like Zhuang Fangyi and Avywenna.
Liino’s banner timing relative to Arcane was not explicitly confirmed on stream, but the banner structure teased in the program points toward a Phase 2 placement in late July or early August. We covered the early community reaction and spec in our 1.4 idol operator analysis.
New Weapons
Two new 6-star weapons were showcased during the program, both with distinct stat profiles that expand build variety for specific roles.
Solemn Phalanx – Arts Unit (Type 42)

| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Arts Unit (Type 42) |
| Main Stat | Intellect Boost |
| Sub Stat | Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost |
Solemn Phalanx is purpose-built for Intellect-scaling Arts operators who rely on ultimate uptime. The Intellect Boost main stat pushes base damage, while the Ultimate Gain Efficiency substat accelerates the ultimate cycle. This weapon slot cleanly into any Arts DPS that needs faster ultimate rotations, particularly in compositions where ultimate sequencing defines the damage window.
Bedazzling Night Debut – Polearm (Medicant)

| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Polearm |
| Main Stat | Will Boost |
| Sub Stat | Treatment Efficiency Boost |
| Attribute | Medicant |
Bedazzling Night Debut is a support-oriented Polearm with a Medicant attribute. Will Boost and Treatment Efficiency Boost both scale the healing and support output of healer characters who use polearms. This opens up a new weapon option for Medicant operators who previously had fewer high-stat polearm options in the standard pool.
New Areas and Story
Two new maps are introduced with Version 1.4: Yinglung Pass and the North Wuling Exclusion Zone.

These areas connect to story elements previously teased in Wuling: the Very Large Rift, the Yinglung Special Task Force, and the Exclusion Zone itself. They feature new exploration puzzle mechanics, a new enemy type called Blightshade (connected to the Yinglung Special Task Force’s past), and a new boss: Alleikhreos, Chiliarch – an enemy inspired by Greek and Roman sculptures that the stream described as imposing and solemn.
The Wuling story arc enters an important stage in 1.4, with a noticeably heavier tone than previous updates.
Main Mission Early Unlock: Wuling
A key quality-of-life addition for new and returning players. After completing the main mission Maintenance Progress, players can unlock the Wuling Region and main story early. This does not affect Chapter 1 (Valley IV) progress – players can return to Valley IV at any time.
Key features of the early unlock:
- Most Wuling enemies scale to the player’s Exploration Level, avoiding combat frustration
- Certain AIC technologies that normally require Valley IV research unlock early after placing the Wuling PAC
- A progression material conversion feature allows required materials to be obtainable earlier
- Intended for players interested in Wuling story, events, gear, or scenery
Homecoming Celebration Events
The “Homecoming” event framework bundles multiple limited-time and permanent activities under a single thematic umbrella. The program laid out a dense activity calendar.
Main Mission Early Unlock: Wuling (Permanent)
After completing the main mission Maintenance Progress, players can unlock the Wuling Region and its main story early. This does not affect Chapter 1 (Valley IV) progress – players can return to Valley IV at any time. Most Wuling enemies scale to the player’s Exploration Level, and certain AIC technologies that normally require Valley IV research unlock early after placing the Wuling PAC. A progression material conversion feature is also available.

The unlock comes bundled with several supporting campaigns:
- Tribute of Companionship – a reward track tied to the Homecoming event period
- Gaze North to the Rift Sign-In – daily login bonuses
- Fortune Connect-and-Win – 14 daily scratch-offs guaranteeing 5000 Oroberyls
- Operator Progression Boost – accelerated leveling for new units
- New Horizons Giveaway – free resources for returning and new players
Talosite Currency & Exchange
A new special energy crystal called Talosite is being introduced as a collectible resource found across Talos-II. Players can gather Talosite and exchange it at the Talosite Exchange for various rewards.

This functions as a catch-up and side-collection economy – think of it as a universal event currency that persists beyond a single event window, rewarding exploration and daily play.
Rift Trekker Gear Pack
A new gear pack was teased during the program: the Rift Trekker Gear Pack. Specific piece stats were not detailed on stream, but gear packs in Endfield typically bundle multiple set pieces with targeted substat distributions. Watch for the full breakdown once the patch drops.

Additionally, the AIC Fieldwork Gear Template becomes obtainable upon arriving in the Wuling region after the version update, giving factory-focused players another gear template to slot into their production lines.

Profile Themes
New profile customization options are arriving with 1.4. Two themes were shown: “Fount of Shattering of Suffering Reality” and “Junction Point.” These appear to be unlockable via event progression or the Talosite Exchange.

New Game Modes
Echoes of War (Permanent)
Echoes of War is a permanently available seasonal challenge mode with multiple difficulty levels and stage mechanics. Players must complete stage objectives within a time limit, and some stages include special buffs. Clearing Normal difficulty provides all Oroberyl rewards. Higher difficulties offer stars, ratings, and showcase rewards for players who want to keep challenging themselves.

This fills the gap between Umbral Monument seasons and Contingency Contract cycles, giving endgame players a consistent repeatable challenge. Expect rotating stage lineups with earnable season titles.
Heat Rage! Mega Arena!
A limited-time 2-operator combat event where players receive buffs designed specifically for two-operator lineups. The event encourages trying pair combinations that would otherwise be difficult to use in regular combat modes, creating fun challenge content. Preset teams are available to lower the entry barrier for all players.

This is the kind of roster-flex event that rewards deep builds and off-meta pairings. Expect synergy checks and element-lock conditions.
Gaze Towards the Northern Exclusion Rift (Guide Event)
A guide event themed around the Northern Exclusion Rift. The description frames it as the day the Endfield team returns to the “gash that refuses to be healed” – a reference to the Æther Rift threatening Wuling.

This event appears to be a story-guide hybrid, walking players through the narrative context ahead of the Rooted Realm and the 1.4 story content.
Narrative Events
Like a Star Streaking Across the Boundaries
A new narrative event was teased with the title “Like a Star Streaking Across the Boundaries.” The frame shown during the program suggests a story-driven event with multiple stage clears and narrative progression gates.

Given the title and the event naming convention, this likely ties into the Æther Rift storyline and the “Homecoming” theme – boundaries being the rifts between Talos-II and Terra.
The Rooted Realm
Originally teased in the 1.3 livestream, The Rooted Realm is a limited-time event featuring exploration, parkour, and token collection. Players control a single operator to collect Aurylene Fragments within a time limit, planning routes, finding hidden paths, and using interactable mechanisms to improve their score. The event also features combat zones with special mechanics that change up combat gameplay.

Realm Quests function as the event’s mission system, with multiple completion milestones across the event duration.
Umbral Monument and Delver of the Cryptic Updates
Both existing endgame modes receive new content in Version 1.4.
Wuling AIC Plan & Factory Updates
The Automated Industry Complex (Factory) receives a major expansion in 1.4 with the introduction of gas resources, new facilities, formulas, production lines, and gear.

New Gas Resources
Two new gas resources are added:
- Inergen – found in existing areas
- Xiragen – found in existing areas
These gas resources unlock new production formulas that simplify existing production lines:
- Heavy Xiranite streamlining – purify Xiranite using gas for more efficient production
- Pyrrolite Components – craft using Pyrrolite Gas to produce new gear
- Pipe Control and Item Control Ports can now adjust the flow rate of products
- Fluid Supply Unit can be used in the wild without power after unlocking an upgrade
- Gas mode unlocked for certain existing facilities
New Facilities
| Facility | Type |
|---|---|
| Torrent Gun Tower | Combat facility |
| Electrocharger Model A-2 | Combat facility |
Puzzles involving Fluid Supply Units can clear small rifts in the North Wuling Exclusion Zone.
New Outpost
A new AIC outpost, Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station, becomes available in Yinglung Pass, expanding the factory network into the new region.
For players who have been following our AIC factory optimization guide, this update adds gas logistics to your production lines. The AIC Fieldwork Gear Template is also obtainable upon arriving in Wuling after the update.

Player Type Verdicts
For the New or Returning Player
The Homecoming event framework is built for you. The Main Mission Early Unlock gives fast access to Wuling after just Maintenance Progress, the Talosite Exchange provides a catch-up economy, and the New Horizons Giveaway accelerates roster building. Arsenal Defence Crates directly address gear acquisition pain points with transitional artificed gear. Grab the free Farsight 6-star sword, use the ENDFIELDRENEW code, and don’t miss the 14 daily scratch-offs for 5000 Oroberyls. Focus on the Tribute of Companionship track and the Gaze North to the Rift sign-in.
For the Mid-Game Player
Arcane is your primary savings target. Her unique INT/WILL stance system means you can build her as either a Nature DPS (INT focus with Corrosion) or a support (WILL focus with enemy grouping and Arts Infliction spread). Maintain a 120-pull buffer minimum. Liino is a strong secondary target if your roster lacks a dedicated support – her team ATK Boost, forced Electrification, and SP refund for Electric operators make her a premium pick for Electric teams. Pair her with Zhuang Fangyi or Avywenna. Run Echoes of War for seasonal titles and use Heat Rage! to test 2-operator pairings. Start farming Talosite early.
For the Endgame Player
Arcane’s dual-role flexibility is a ceiling-raiser for team compositions – INT-state provides Nature DPS with Susceptibility and Corrosion, while WILL-state offers grouping utility and Arts Infliction spread. Liino’s Cosmovoice Stance forced Electrification is the first guaranteed Electric reaction setup in the game, and her Combo Skill (triggered on any Arts Infliction/Reaction application or consumption) creates a reliable self-sustaining loop. Her SP refund for Electric operators compounds in mono-Electric teams. Echoes of War provides a permanent title-grind loop. Audit your AIC factory layout ahead of the gas resource overhaul.
For the Whale / Hyper-Engaged Player
Arcane’s stat-dependent stance system means optimizing her INT/WILL balance will be key – dupes that improve both stat lines or enable faster stance cycling compound aggressively. Liino’s Combo Skill buff and Cosmovoice duration extension are worth targeting. Push for season titles in Echoes of War, clear the Rooted Realm on release day, and start stockpiling Talosite early for the exchange shop.
Common Mistakes to Avoid in Version 1.4
- Skipping the Talosite Exchange. This is a new persistent economy. Ignoring it means leaving rewards on the table that do not cost Oroberyl. Also used for the Dijiang Phonograph vinyl records.
- Over-committing to one banner without a 120-pull floor. Arcane is a limited banner. If you start pulling without a full guarantee, you risk partial investment with no payout.
- Sleeping on Echoes of War. Permanent modes that hand out season titles are easy to deprioritize. The title system has long-term prestige value for accounts that engage early.
- Ignoring the AIC gas overhaul. Gas resources (Inergen, Xiragen) simplify existing production lines. Rebuilding your factory to incorporate gas logistics early saves material waste later.
- Treating Heat Rage! as optional. The 2-operator format with dedicated buffs is a unique roster-flex check. Preset teams lower the entry barrier. The first-clear rewards are worth the time.
- Misunderstanding Arcane’s stance system. She is not a fixed DPS or support. Her role depends entirely on Intellect vs Will stat allocation. Decide which role you need before building her. INT = Nature DPS with Corrosion. WILL = support with grouping and Infliction spread.
- Ignoring the Name Change Card. You get one free every six months. Do not waste your free card on a trivial change.
- Forgetting to set your birthday. The birthday system sends special blessings and gifts, with retroactive mail if you set an earlier date in the current year. Claimable up to 2 weeks after.
- Missing the redemption code. ENDFIELDRENEW gives a Camera Sticker and 71,600 T-Creds. Redeem it before it expires.
- Expecting Liino to solo-heal. Her healing is supplementary. She is a support first (ATK buffs, Electrification, SP refund, Amp), healer second. Pair her with a dedicated healer for high-pressure content.
Final Read
The Companionship Celebration & Homecoming Special Program delivered a packed 1.4 slate that feels more like a minor expansion than a patch. Arcane is the first dual-stance operator with INT/WILL flexibility between Nature DPS and support. Liino brings a unique Combo Skill that triggers on any Arts Infliction/Reaction interaction, plus Electric SP refund synergy. The AIC gas overhaul (Inergen, Xiragen) fundamentally changes factory logistics. A free 6-star sword Farsight, 2000 Oroberyls via mail, 14 daily scratch-offs guaranteeing 5000 more, and the ENDFIELDRENEW code make this a generous patch for all players.
The QoL list is enormous: camera system, Name Change Cards, birthday system, Dijiang Phonograph, DLSS 4.5, FSR 3, main mission early unlock, Arsenal Defence Crates, and dozens of factory/combat/UI refinements.
Arcane’s July 16 banner is the immediate savings target. Liino’s timing points to Phase 2. The teased characters – Si (13th Sui Proxy), a Hongshan Imperial Guard, and a Sarkaz dream traveler – plus the snowy forest and painted realm areas confirm Hypergryph is deep into post-1.4 development.
Stay tuned for our full Version 1.4 update overview once the patch lands.

What are Arsenal Defence Crates?
Crates earned from completing new operator trial stages. They contain transitional fully-artificed gear to equip operators without heavy AIC grinding.
Should I pull for Arcane or Liino?
Arcane is the higher-priority target for most accounts – limited banner, first dual-stance operator with flexibility between Nature DPS (INT) and support (WILL). Liino is worth budgeting for if your roster lacks a dedicated Electric support who provides ATK buffs, forced Electrification, SP refund, and Amp. If your Oroberyl is tight, prioritize Arcane and evaluate Liino once her Phase 2 kit numbers are confirmed.
Does the AIC gas overhaul require a factory rebuild?
The AIC update adds gas resources (Inergen, Xiragen), new formulas, and a new Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station outpost. Existing layouts remain functional, but adopting gas logistics will simplify Heavy Xiranite production and enable Pyrrolite Gas crafting. Audit your pipeline for modularity; clean layouts integrate faster with gas formulas. Pipe Control and Item Control Ports now support flow rate adjustment, and conduit distance increased from 200m to 300m with straight-line calculation.
Were new operators teased beyond Arcane and Liino?
Yes. Three upcoming operators were named: Si (the 13th Sui Proxy), a Hongshan Imperial Guard, and a Sarkaz dream traveler girl. Expect formal reveals in future special programs.
When will the three teased operators be revealed?
Not yet announced. Si will appear in her true form in Yinglung Pass. The Hongshan Imperial Guard and Sarkaz dream traveler are likely post-1.4 additions. Watch for future special programs or the next content roadmap broadcast for kit details.
