Typhoeus guides: build, teams, pull verdict
This page is her stats, skills, potentials and materials reference with an interactive damage calculator. For the tested setup, read the Typhoeus build guide (weapons, Deep Rampart gear, rotation), best teams, and whether she is worth pulling.
Character Profile
“Endmin, I sought you out and fulfilled my promise. What about yours? Have you found a good story to share with me?”
Typhoeus is a Sarkaz reconvener from Rhodes Island who travelled north in search of the lost legends of Sami. She crossed paths with the Endministrator during that journey and joined Endfield Industries at their personal invitation, arriving with a wilderness skillset that has kept survey teams alive through polar blizzards and a notebook she fills with every story she can get her colleagues to tell. In the field she is the first Nature Striker in the game and the first Arts Unit user to scale on Agility, built around a loop of Signs and Hunting Arrows: her aerial attacks consume the Nature Infliction her teammates apply, each consumed stack grants a Sign, and a full set of Signs converts into the Hunting Arrows that empower her Nature Bursts.
Typhoeus Lore & Story
OripathyOripathy negative, based on medical examination reports.
Operator Typhoeus, a reconvener from Rhodes Island. She crossed paths with the Endministrator during her journey in search of the lost legends of Sami, and later joined Endfield Industries at the Endministrator's personal invitation.
When speaking with Miss Typhoeus, the composure and steadiness she displayed far surpassed that of most adults, yet her insatiable curiosity and those ill-timed probing glances still betrayed a childlike nature beneath. Per protocol, I had many questions to ask her, but the moment she brought out her notebook, I could never seem to find the right opportunity to pose a single one. It was hard to imagine that one person could have so many questions that even I grew tired of answering them. I once reminded her that many of her questions could be answered in the Operator Onboarding Manual, but she twirled her pen and said calmly that she was fascinated by the way I told things. After three hours of questioning, she left satisfied. Before she closed her notebook, I caught a glimpse of her evaluation of me: "Three heads, knows everything, answers every question, every legend needs a character like that."Martin Marvin Malen, Assistant, HR Division, Endfield Industries
Long ago, the equipment aboard the sky vessel Dijiang was constantly breaking down. The poor craftsmen had no choice but to take shelter in the workshop, forging and repairing day and night without rest. Yet after a full year of toil, the number of machines awaiting repair only grew, piling up around them like an unbroken mountain range. Consumed by rage, his last shred of kindness was spent. He transformed into a vengeful spirit and entered the machinery itself, vowing to take revenge on every careless soul who cut corners in their operations. The lights flickering in the night are the sign of his patrol.
Having an operator like Typhoeus, who excels at wilderness survival, join us has made our work in the north go much more smoothly. Although Endfield works closely with the Order of Steel Oath, they are often too occupied with their own battles to spare much time for us. More often than not, they lead us to the site of a rift, then must return to the front lines, leaving the rest of the work to us. The polar environment is harsh, with year-round snow cover and extremely low temperatures, creating many difficulties for our monitoring work. A sudden blizzard destroyed our camp and knocked out all our instruments. In despair, we wrapped ourselves in every blanket we had, waiting to be consumed by the frozen wasteland. Fortunately, Operator Typhoeus arrived just in time. Along with her came an entire animal leg. In the ruins, Typhoeus lit a campfire and brought warmth with a Sami-style barbecue. She then ventured alone into the blizzard, returning with wood and bark, and in just one afternoon, built a log cabin large enough for four people using nothing but primitive materials.
"Endfield is a legitimate enterprise. You need to learn to distinguish fact from rumor. Not all those legends are true." Every time a new employee joins Endfield, the veteran staff makes a point of reminding them of this. That was until Operator Typhoeus joined Endfield, and all that effort went down the drain. With her rambling, mystical tales, this girl blurred the line between rumor and reality, turning us from a company with a certain legendary flair into ... a legend, plain and simple. The mysterious characters flashing across the screens, the crying sounds echoing from the bridge late at night, the lighting fixtures in the Engineering Division that never seem to stay fixed, always flickering on and off when someone is alone. These little coincidences, easily dismissed with a laugh, were gathered and woven together by Typhoeus into a spine-chilling legend.

Calculator assumptions
Every number uses a Level 90 Typhoeus with all four skills at Rank 12 and all four Agility talent nodes unlocked. Her base ATK, Agility, Will, damage multipliers, talents, and potentials are read from the committed client tables.
Agility is her main attribute and Will is her secondary, which is what makes the two Version 1.5 Arts Units the only weapons that match her main stat. The ATK formula weights them at 0.005 and 0.002 respectively after every flat source and Main/Sub Stat Boost has been applied, then truncates both attributes before calculating Final Build ATK.
Ordinary hits run the complete Talos Wiki damage chain. The Nature Burst row uses the separate Arts Reaction formula: 80% plus 80% per consumed Infliction stack, followed by the level-90 Hidden Multiplier and Arts Intensity. Expand any row to inspect the active factors.
Talent 1 Prey Checklist reaches rank 3 at break stage 3, so a Power Shot is modelled at x1.6. When that Power Shot consumes a Nature Infliction stack the burst it forces is multiplied by a further 1.3, and Potential 5 adds 1.1 on top. All three are Base Multipliers rather than damage bonuses, so they scale the reaction rather than joining the bonus buckets.
Potential 1 grants ATK +18% only while Hovering, so it applies on the Battle Skill and the Ultimate and not on the ground chain. Potential 2 adds Agility +20 and Arts Intensity +16. Potential 3 shortens the Rampant Thorns cooldown and adds 6% to the Barrage Array's Nature Burst DMG Taken. Potential 4 only cuts the Ultimate's energy cost, so it moves no damage number here. Potential 5 multiplies the Ultimate by 1.2 and adds a Hunting Arrow.
The Barrage Array increase is Nature Burst only, so it raises the reaction row and leaves the skill rows alone. Rotation timing, target count, how many Signs a window actually banks, and Ultimate Energy per second are outside this per-action calculator. Around three quarters of her real damage is Nature Bursts, so the reaction row matters far more than its single line here suggests.

In Some teams whenever you need less than 16% ULT Eff to reach ult (ST). Usually against 2+ enemies you either dont need it at all, or unlocks ult way faster
No Energy Standard Build for Single Target, Mask ends up better as long as your rotation reach enemy stagger
Contingency Contract Fit
Test Criteria this kit handles well, since every criterion is a penalty or enemy buff and Typhoeus sidesteps or shrugs these off. See the full dashboard for every modifier.
Poor Basics · Damage is skill and ultimate based, not reliant on basic attacks.
Rush · The Barrage Array from Rampant Thorns slows everything standing in it, which pushes back directly against the doubled enemy movement speed.
Hypoxia · Losing Dodge costs her less than most carries, because her Battle Skill and Ultimate both put her in a Hovering state that already evades ground attacks.
Re-Construct · Heavy hitters and HP-scaling reaction damage power through the reinforced α elites.
Tremor · Tremor buffs every source that is not a Basic Attack, Battle Skill, Combo Skill or Ultimate, which is exactly where her Nature Bursts sit, so the +100% lands on the bulk of her damage while the Battle Skill cut only touches a small slice.
Vitality · Sustained or amplified damage chews through the inflated HP pools.
Biolysis · Nature skills cleanse the forced Solidification.
Decapitate · Durable or ranged, so the extra damage on the active operator stays manageable.
Encasement · Deals damage without piling on the stacks that would shield the enemy.
Encumbered · Her 5th Aerial Basic Attack counts as a Final Strike while she is the controlled operator, so she refreshes the 12-second window on her own and natural SP recovery keeps ticking.
Flash Freeze · Heat skills melt the forced Solidification, and ranged operators rarely eat the enemy Cryo in the first place.
Heat Loss · Light on combo-skill usage, dodging the self-applied Solidification.
Partition · Self-sufficient carry that does not need to swap operators mid-fight.
Regeneration · Bursts targets down rather than leaning on crowd control that now heals them.
Restraint · Deals damage without applying the inflictions that trigger the penalty.
Synced Growth · Wins through raw damage instead of healing, which would also heal the enemy.
Thrill · Tanky, ranged or well-healed, so the enemy damage spike is survivable.
Time Limit · Fast killer that beats the shortened timer rather than ramping up slowly.
Toxic Residue · Ranged or self-sustaining, so the lingering toxin patches do little.
